NO ONE CAN COMPARE SRK BECAUSE HE IS BEST AND BEST.I AM BIG FAN ME NOT THE WHOLE CONTRY IS FAN OF SRK.WE ALL LOVE YOU.AND UP ABOVE ALL ALLAH IS WITH U.
Saw the most awaited and hyped reality show of the season, SRK %u2013 KBC! My observations about the show %u2013
%u2022SRK did try to imitate Big B%u2019s style of presenting the show. For instance %u2013 rubbing hands against each other when alone on the screen, producing hissing sound before asking the question, trying to harden the voice as Big B used to do while anchoring the show etc. %u2022The most unexpected thing that shocked me was tension was evident on SRK%u2019s face while he was anchoring the show. I had never expected this from an actor who has proved himself umpteen times on the silver screen. It seemed like he was under pressure of matching up with Big B%u2019s histrionics. He even fumbled to say his dialogues smoothly at times. Big B was unimaginably natural and at ease. Even in the second episode that was aired on Tuesday 23rd January, 2007, SRK looked tense and under pressure. At one time, he mispronounced the qualification of the second contestant. He should try reviving his language skills. Agreed, he can speak many regional languages, at least that is what the audience sitting before the television sets would assume but his Hindi is as good as any teenager on Mumbai streets. We may camouflage this under the guise of friendliness, approachability and amicability but the importance of using chaste language while anchoring a reality show that had once been anchored by Mr Bachchan cannot be jeopardized. Mr Bachchan always showed great respect towards contestants, their relatives, audience and the personalities being talke about in the show. SRK missed out on a great opportunity to connect to the people at large by poking fun at their names, forgetting to utter Mr. Suryakant%u2019s name (the person whom the second contestant had called while using the phone-a-friend lifeline) respectfully when he didn%u2019t know his age and pulling the participants%u2019 legs too frequently. %u2022Big B is a well-read man and an erudite scholar; probably that was the reason watching him anchor the show was an exhilarating experience that compelled audience to look at him with high regard. SRK kept himself busy in some childish acts such as hugging, massaging and using not-so-standard language. The dignity of the show should have been maintained. Agreed, SRK%u2019s image doesn%u2019t allow him to be presented as an experienced well-read man but that was the basic requirement which should have been taken care of. I don%u2019t think audience would not like SRK speaking impeccable Hindi. %u2022SRK was successful in bringing smile on the faces of millions of the viewers and his fans. His dialogues were written very well and he presented them with great panache. Even the song at the beginning was quite entertaining. But it should not be shown at the beginning of each and every episode. %u2022Many new product commercials were specially created for the prime-time show. Obviously, the TRP rating for Star Plus would be the highest for that time slot thanks to SRK%u2019s stupendous popularity and fan-following. Majority of the commercials featured SRK. %u2022SRK was good in the anchor%u2019s role but could not recreate the magic that Big B had spelled over the audience. SRK failed to create the aura that Big B had created for millions of the viewers.
He is great. Fantastic! He brought back warmth, life and cheerful joy to the show that was lacking before. Now this is how a game show should be. You can feel the fun and excitement through the screen.
Iam really not understanding why people are comparing with Big B........both have different style, sense of humour which anyone cannot copy and present it.....shahrukh is doing fantastic job.......he is very humble, kind, nice person......He makes people very comfortable and relaxed......i feel this KBC is far better than what amitabh has hosted...
SRK is no where near Big B. Big B is ultimate. The Voice, Style, Costume, Screen Presence and the Personality os Big B is simply breathtaking and that too at this age.
