Hi..I think SRk so brilliant in KBC. He is doing great job! He is the best replacement for Mr. Bachchan. And he is doing with his own style and being very normal n natural. May be his different than Mr. Bachchan. but on other hand Mr. Bachchan also can;t do the way Shahrukh does... So ppl need to stop comparing them n should grow up!

KBC 3 continues to perform well below expectations.
1. The TAM TRP is stuck between 8 to 9 during week 2 and 3 as well (aMap TRP equivalent is 3.7 to 4.2, which is published everyday). This is consistently below the 7 year old serials - Kyunki Saas...and Kahaani Ghar.... (each at about TAM TRP 10). So KBC3 which was supposed to start with a bang and recreate the magic is just a whimper. Bollywood's supposed biggest star has not been able to beat old serials even in the first few weeks even with an established popular program! Is this the stuff superstars are made of?
2. KBC's media management company had promised TRPs of 15 to 20 and ad rates were set accordingly (see last Sunday's Economic Times). Since actual performance is half of the projected TRP, ad rates have been cut by 40% to Rs. 3 lacs for a 10 sec spot from Rs.5 lac (KBC1 ran for 3 years with TRPs of 15 to 26 and for many months with TRPs of over 20!!).
3. The only relief to Star is that TRPs have not declined too much in Week 2 and 3 but this is still well below expectation.
KBC3 has proved to a storm in a tea cup for Star. Given that KBC anyway is an excellent program format around the world, it could have achieved the current TRPs of 8-9 even with a regular host or any other film star. SRK has failed to make the difference that he was expected to make as the supposed "superstar" and has not justified his price. Even the opening day TRP was only 12! And all this despite the fact that Star brought KBC3 back as a weekdays program from being a weekends program (remember, KBC2 was a weekend program) In general TV viewership is higher on weekedays than on weekends as is an established fact (since people do other things on weekends).
The reason for the below average TRPs is quite simple. There is fundamental difference between Amitabh and Shahrukh, the former is a genuine cult figure relentlessly for over 3 decades with immense talent and presence while the latter is an overhyped paper tiger.

to samira yr message clearly indicates that u r a great fan (or chamcha of mr.bachchan. to hell with your trp, we are enjoying shahrukh in KBC. from 9 to 10 we are only watching KBC.yhsi is success of shahrukh. aap apne kaam me concentrate kare to achha hai. shahrukh kya hai yeh aap ke samajh me nahin ayega. pls shut your mouth. chamchagiri bahut hua ab bandh kijiye.

i agree completely with u ayan.... SRk is doing his job very nicely. and the show is completely a hit, he is so entertaining. all these guys around here have attitude problem, atleast SRK is much much better than bacchan

r u rachna's sister? C its was very stupid of that stupid lady to pass such a comment on the show. It was THE shahrukh khan she was talking to... which she forgot i suppose. I doubt if ever any man would in fact say something so sweet to her. She was not only awful to look but very boring to listen also. You know what i think !! she as well as u have different sexual preferences.........
Well, I guess it is inevitable that Shah Rukh Khan is compared to Mr. Bachchan in KBC.But I feel they shld not be compared because both are good in their own way and both have their own style.Shah Rukh Khan is equally good as Mr Bachchan.I am not a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan...but i still liked him in KBC.He is truly entertaining in KBC.Though in first few episodes it looks obvious that he is trying to make KBC look different than Amitabhs KBC, but as we see later episodes he seems to be doing his job perfectly well.
we miss kbc with amitabh shahrukh- no voice, not good acting, and i am something, here, i gratefull to haryanvi professor
amitabh ki to aankhe bhi bolti hai, to shahrukh fit nahi hota kbc mein, thik chal raha hai, chalane ko to koi doosra bhi chala leta, shekhar suman, farukh shaikh, aur navjot sidhhu bhi........
