Hey, I watched the movie after reading this review with real Skepticism.
But, to my amazement, the film was really wonderfully conceived and even though many of us know what is the next step, still, we were left flabbergasted as it was beautifully sketched by the director.
Ajith's performance was superb and he carried on the entire film in his shoulders creditably well.
Individual perceptions do differ but there is a measure which is called "Over All Satisfaction" which shall apply to all film buffs. This movie really does gave it to the viewer and that too when you know what is going to happen next.
Don't Miss the action carried away by biased opinions, and, as usual, Let us be the Judges in this respect also as we do in all our life regularly. I am sure that no one will be disappointed.

If someone fails or a film fails, even if we assume Billa is a disaster, what makes U so happy abt it ?
Is it the person/actor named Ajith who has nothing do with U, has acted in it and performed so badly (according to rediff) ?
Anyway, I dont think you can come up in your life when you are so happy at someone's failure. Ditto for other actors fans who do the same thing. Neither Ajit or Vijay are going to worry so long about the results of their films.

Ajit only walks through out the movie,even in songs ,its the only drawback. Vishnu shuld have sticked with Arya for this movie & the script do the talking than the actors like his previous films. What can Vishnu do ,everybody associate with our hero will have the same fate, God save A.m.Ratnam & Sankar for ROBO

Dont worry. Your BHEEMA and KANDASAMY are ready to fill up the first two biggest flops in entire Film History. What about your Vikram movies Majaa, Arul, King, Kadhal Sadugudu,Samurai, Vinnukkum mannukkum, Kangalin vaarthighal, Kasi and the list goes no. Are all superhits? He too gave more flops than any others particularly more than Vijay and Ajith.
Rediff Review of Om Shanti Om reads: Bollywood is bizarre and campy and over-the-top and unprofessional and snide and egotistical and sporadic and dynastic and facetious and utterly self-smitten, but -- without even going into the numerous positives -- that's just why we love it. Farah, thanks. As someone who has to sit through a million movies, mostly suspect, week after week -- and to someone who has to toil through it and bear the tabloid attention -- this is a reminder of what we like about Bollywood, what makes it so special. ------
You cannot expect a honest review for a regional movie from something which supports a bollywood film.
They celebrate a crappiest thing called Om Shanti Om, give it a 3 rating and dare to write off a Shahrukh Khan film. Thats the way they do it.
I wonder why Vijay and Ajith fans fight it out here?! Both are talented actors (choose only bad films to act) and very rarely they come up with a good film. When all their talents put into efforts they will come up with blockbusters and imagine what kinda films we will happen to see if either of these actor get a chance to work in a film by a Cheran or Bala or Selvaraghavan or Ameer or Balaji Sakthivel? They will never do it. We can expect only masala films from Vijay and Ajith and it was our fate that we cannot see them in a lifetime role which Rajnikanth also missed in his career doing films only for fans and never got a chance to portray his histrionics.
Y does rediff always allow sick and psycho to review the movie.. the worst site to read the movie review.. we saw the movie today.. the movie is a very good technical film... No one can remake a film with this quality.. ajith rocks.. thumps up for the movie...
