CONFUSING OPINIONS!
by daniel craig on Dec 18, 2007 03:10 PM  Permalink

I think this explains the reason y ajit films always have an opening but dont turn out to b hits...while one section of people who r his fans throng the theaters in the first few weeks, there is the other regular movie going section, which ajit has failed to woo completely...thats y there r divided opinions on his films as is the case with billa...when thers so much of difference in opinon about a film, people r confused to go to theater n watch it n it seems billa also has mixed reviews

Evano Oruvan is the remake of internationally acclaimed Marathi film Dombivli Fast by Nishikant Kamat himself. What if it is a remake? Good films have to be appreciated and Evano Oruvan is a brave effort by Madhavan, who has produced as well as written the dialogues in Tamil.

If Tamil films have to reach high standards, films like this have to be made.

ITS AN OK FILM
by daniel craig on Dec 18, 2007 12:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the movie is gud for ajit fans as is evident...if u luk at it, it is not even gud as the remade don of srk...it had lots of twists which made it diferent from teh original..here, vishnu plays it safe and actually overburdens ajit who, one has to say, has done well...dont compare him with rajni or hollywood as some of the fans have done here...hes ok, gud luking, but hollywood?! that is a bit too much...v can understand that u r fans but dont think anyone else other than his fans will accept that..its made stylish n al, but farhan rocked with his stylization of don than vishnu!

New Standards Set by an Indian(Tamil) Movie...
by SaranR on Dec 18, 2007 12:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The movie is really rocking & its going to held the tamil film industry high worldwide after the stupendous success of Sivaji.
I think the reviewer got "Handsome purse" for such a bad review, as it shows how he 'forgot' to mention about the excellent camerawork & the positives of the movie.
Good job TSV Sori...enjoy urself stil rediff gives ur another chance.......will it???

While Seeing Pattiyal & Arinthum ariyamalum the unique theme touch all for long. But the colour xerox of BILLA shows him there is a lack of new idea & fear to make new .(this is for AJITH THE THALA too . He too wastes his energy & time to appear new and for success )BILLA THE GANG OF FAILIURED WHO EXPECTS VICTORY NEW ............................

Billa not upto the mark
by Sriram Govindarajan on Dec 18, 2007 10:03 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Billa is very stylish,no doubt abt that, but I felt there was something missing till the end, probably life or soul in the movie,AJith is damn good looking, but he looked like burdened with the responsibility to overshadow rajini..But I am sorry to say he cudnt do it,as Rajini's body language was too good in original, also the dialogue delivery and dramatic sense. Most of the time ajith was walking all the way thru with sunglasses...Vishnuvardhan has to get out from Manirathnam's imitation. On the whole good for ajith fans and nothing much...

BILLA HAS CROSSED ALL THE STANDARDS SET BY PREVIOUS DON MOVIES IN TERMS OF COLLECTIONS,,WHICH TELLS THAT PEOPLE LOVE IT DUE TO ITS SHORT AND SLICK STORY,,AJITH ROCKS ALL THE WAY,,

Sharukh's DON is the best,I dont say sharukh is better than AJith, but Farhan akthar is better than Vishnu vardhan...In Bill 2007,the climax is the replica of "Recruit" and couple of scenes were taken fro matrix including the BGM...
