Have a life!

Dear Darbar
Have a life! Even after unabashed self aggrandizement, you call it your speciality!

I guess it was your insecurity which makes yourself compare with the likes of ARR and belittle his achievements by saying it was because of his association with foreigners that made him famous.

Giving a hit or a two does not make one very great. It is the humility which makes one.

It is the empty vessels that make noise. Please have a life and mind your own business before comparing you to greats.

"I am not saying his songs won't be popular as he is shaukeen (talented) when it comes to music. But history will not be created." -- Bwah Ha Ha

Rediff Interview/Ismail Darbar
by kathe on Mar 11, 2005 09:08 AM  Permalink

Hi All,

My first opinion on going through 2 episodes of ismail darbar, is it tht worth to publish it in rediff. Any third rated magazine would hav been happy interviewing this selfish and foolish homosapien.

Right throughout the interview, the way he speaks its clear he s bad mouthing on everyone and that he s very clever in passing his comments. These kind of people are looking out for publicity by giving out ridiculous statements. Why rediff should support it? He knew that he cant survive bollywood against Sanjay Lella, so there has been a lot of poisoned adulation, whereas in case of Rahman only jealously remains. i dont think he doesnt deserve what hes enjoyng now and sure Allah will teach him a lesson. My only word for Darbar is, " You are flying too high from ground and shouting, no one can hear you". Learn manners first and then Music.

Why does Rediff entertain...
by Govind on Mar 11, 2005 08:22 AM  Permalink

a Megalomaniac like Ismail Darbar to settle his professional jealousy in an esteemed website like yours. Its the second article on him and we readers are not interested in listening to people like him boast on how he is the best in the world. Let the world say that.....

Oh My God
by Ary on Mar 11, 2005 12:04 AM  Permalink

That is what a little success should not give any person: EEEEgggggoooooo. The other day he was demeaning Rehman and now Bhansali. I used to like his work but now even though I might like it, I no longer respect it. An artiste always needs to be humble and down to earth. This person is bound towards a big fall. 'Vinash Kaale Vipareet Buddhi'.
