Firstly, I haven't seen the movie, so I cant comment on how good or bad the movie is.
But after reading the review, I doubt I will watch this. Dammit. Give us the basic story summary (if there is one) and comment briefly on the acting, direction and overall entertainment value or simply give a rating.
Sukanya Verma, with all due respects, sounds like a star-struck 15-year old college girl, with terrible writing skills, reminds me of bored people sitting around the college canteen and talking 'You know yaaar, Shah Rukh is tooo good yaar...the herione's dress was soooo nice...but her bangles didn't match, the music is so fundu, the comedy sceeenee was awesome maaannn.'
Small talk review, which tries to be funny, highlight how well she can write, it just goes on and on and on.Seems like she was blurting about the movie to a friend over the phone on a train, and transcribed it.
Come on. Don't just go on and on. Maybe the reviewer should have heard about KISS (Keep it simple stupid). That's the best way to communicate. Rediff Editor team, I think the readers actually write good reviews . Save some money and let the users rule, than some amateur movie critics.
MHN was a movie which was, lousy, lacklustre, boring, worthless, painstakingly long, waste of money, huge dissappointment, poor script, poor editing,torture on mental and emotional nerves, heartbreaking, feeling cheated, testing on your patience, undeservingly hyped as we audience seem to have been taken for granted by FARAH KHAN and group. MHN reads A Farah Khan Film which will be best forgotten in couple of weeks and be best remembered for the FLOP of the year 2004. It is advisable to see all those movies which Farah has been inspired by. SRK dissappoints you to the core. Whatever be the hype this movie has already fallen flat as audience cannot be taken for granted - FINALLY WE DICTATE THE HITS AND FLOPS. I won't be surprised to see this movie in the less than 3 months featuring in ZEE THURSDAY PREMIER mein dekhiye - MAIN HOON NA ( arrey tu nahin hota tho acchaa hota - khaali phukat paisa ka vaat lagaya)
Main Hoon Na is a complete family film with great music,comedy,emotions,drama. You name it u've got it. Shahrukh is as usual AWESOME,Amrita Rao has a great future ahead of her with excellent performance, Sushmita is also good but at times tries to be like Mallika Sherawat in one of the songs. All and all a complete time pass.A MUST SEE FOR ALL.
This is a crap movie, I could survive only 20 minutes. The first plot in the TV studio, where a bloddy battle is shown taking place between the Army and the guys against the so-called peace-pack looks utterly filmsy, non-sensical, disgusting and without any reason to say the least. I couldn't watch the film beyond that........... I wonder why a decent actor like Naseer accepts such roles. He is really damaging his reputation as a great actor.
It really sucks, the recent hindi movies..............
Shame SRK and others for making such a lousy movie. Make some good contribution to Cinema... And rediff stop glorifying such crap movies....
Well...today was the last day of the bank holiday weekend and thankfully the sunshine is making the day look really great....but only one thing spoilt it and that was this movie'Mein Hoon Na'. The review presented of rediff.com was more like an advertisement of the movie rather than presenting the actual view. This was not expected from SRK who gave such a good performance in KHNH..... Anyway 5 pounds wasted.....never mind....hope the reviews are well next time.
