Why the smart engineer-MBAs are not mentioning one of the most important attraction of coming back to India? It is the affordabilty of domestic helps,hiring of servants,cooks,drivers and ayahs.

There is only a bit of truth in your statement and it applies only to people who earn average salaries in west and people who want to do startups. You being a hypocrite, you can never understand the real reason behind the reverse brain drain.
i think today anybody can go anywere in the world. If indians going to america are coming back it means they can go back to america as well or any other country. They came back since they wanted to or may be tired or life ..... afterall its ones personal decision .... people from bihar go to other parts of india due you think they go bck to bihar ...i hope there is some brain drain in bihar and west bengal ....so that people like laloo dont come up anymore and corruption decreases.
I strongly condemn such hallucination being built in the name of patritism. Look where our country is moving:
(a) Unplannned development/land grabbing leading to depletion of agricultaral land, forest cover & water resources.
(b) Sorry state oof development - development means proper town planning, avaialbilitty of water/electricty and roads . It doesnot mean big buildings, big factories alone..
Look at any developed country... like Japan ... they have got 33% forest cover in spite of population density higher than us....
At no place in the world agricultaral land is used for buliding factories.... that too when we have to feed largest no. of people...
They have all become useless for India since they have no experience in manufacturing,design or engineering after graduating from IITs and have wasted a seat at IIT h8xwhich could have been useful for a good practicing engineer,whom India needs most now.India already has lot of bankers.

absolutely right Vibha... it seems so.. whether banking sector or manufacturing, India needs a gud brain wid a gud sensible way of thinking.... that is selfless thinking... in the end, it is the country bcoz of which a person gains identity first...why not make this country better..
Come back to same American jobs to be done on cheaply basis. Indians will always be slaves of the White man because they do not own any patents what have a global commercial market and nor do they own brands to command a premium. So the current boom (boom in od hour jobs and shopping malls) in India is may bring better salaries but what does that buy in India, no life style as western countries.
I find it quite good decision, whatever is the reason. Talents are comming back to India. Now a days trend is becomming to be operational from any where for any locations. Now more international companies will opt India as their operating offices, and will open more door for the indians who never has chance to go abroad and have international exposure. And this had to happen.
Why IIT's and IIM's only, there is No shortage of new Talent and millionaires in India. Young millionaires from Reliance, TATA, Cognizant, Infy, Wipro, Satyam,HCL, HP,IBM, Tier-B Business schools MBA and Engineers Salaries matchs the US, $50-60k/yr for an average 10 year old experience programmer or Manager. Starting salaries for 22 year old IT programmer and MBAs even from tier-B business schools are in the 6-10 lakh rupee and go up by 20-40% a year after that. A sizable amount of Indian population 400 Million will be moving into the middle class. As more people gain access to education and get integrated into domestic demand/supply and country GDP.
