Yes, unless they do that, can't fight elections in Kerla or WB. In the last elections (2004) Cong and Left are friends in Andhra Pradesh and Rivals in Kerla and WB. Poor Indians (fools) do not understand this...

Since the communists have shown themselves to be spinelss and gutless, the Congress should go ahead confidently and sign the nuclear deal with the US. This way they can call their bluff and show the world that their sabre rattling on national issues is just that..sabre rattling and nothing more. It is high time the country got rid of their nuisance value and outmoded ideas and embraced a path of faster progress.
yes after100 years they have got a chnce to control the center and they can do so for another 10-11 months otherwise they will never get a chnace like this for another 100 years
what other alternative does the left have? tell me is Soviet Union not increasing their export prices for gas and oil in line with international prices or they so saintly that they are sympathetic to the world population? Come on give us a break.

If They are really thinking then they should go for withdrawl support.(beacuse after 6month Parliament election).But they didnt beacuse they know this time they can't win most of the seat in West Bengal(Their Main power is West Bengal,Kerala,Tripura). Thats why they never withdrwal rather they are doing theatre with normal people sentiment. Congress: The Situation is that they have to hike ,No Way.

Please name a few leaders of CPI(M) who have wealth disproportionate to thir known income, so that CBI may inquire. I know that the wealth of Priyo Ranjan Dasmunshi, Subrata Mukherjee, Tapas Roy, Madan Mitra and Didi's brothers are all "hard earned money". Isn't it dear? Before saying any foolish thing about your political opponent, think twice. Do not cross the limit.
All Communists are opportunists and hypocrites rolled into one.They do whatever suits them.They think the people are too naive to see through this game.I am sure the electorate in the 2 states of kerala and West bengal ( where they have a small base) will give them a fitting lesson by wiping them out completely from the face of this country for ever.

They are the real leaders.They remein with UPA inspite of being insulted for good of people.They even sacrifice their ideology to serve people.Karat deserves to be PM of India, They can demend ministership but being selfless they seve only frop outside.

You have forgotten one thing. Few years back a communist was offered Prime Ministership on a platter. He refused it, as his party had taken decision not to join any govt in the Centre. Can you imagine any other political outfit in this country with any such example of political sacrifice?

That's because they knew that they won't survice long. And also because they don't want the responsibility. They just want the power. As they have now
CPIM's logic is all too convinient. If they really feel strongly about it and want to disassociate from UPA, then they should withdraw support.
You can't say 'we support this government to keep BJP from coming in' even when you say this govt. is ruining the country!! By implication CPIM is ruining the country!!
But, realistically, I feel the fuel price raise was very modest. We pay for the fuel one way or the other (Where will the govt. bring the money from)? I think they are just postponing the burden to next govt. by not raising the prices to cover the full shortfall.
Also, The question people should really be asking MM Singh and MC are that - WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO REDUCE GOVT. EXPENDITURE?? Most of Oil taxes goes to funding useless govt. machinary, if they make it more efficient, they can easily bring down the taxes.
