they lack guts
by R Balasubramanian on Jun 05, 2008 11:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I had already written in this board that, the left is spineless and also since the UPA has already completed four years in the office, they are little worried even if the left withdraws support to the government. Ultimately the looser is left as their dream of again winning a bigger share in seats is shortlived since the people have known the tendencies of them. So it is for the left to be in good terms with UPA to safeguard their political interest.
While on the subject i give below the actual cost of petrol per litre for readers reference.
Basic Price = Rs 21.93
Excise duty = Rs 14.35
Education Tax = Rs 0.43
Dealer commission = Rs 1.05
VAT = Rs 5.5
Crude Oil Custom duty = Rs 1.1
Petrol Custom = Rs 1.54
Transportation Charge = Rs 6.00
Total price = Rs 51.90
So for total landed cost of petrol @ Rs.21.00 we are paying Rs.28 extra.
The government's frequent revision in price is only to offset the farmer's loan waiver to the tune of 75000 crores and NPA by all nationalised bank to the tune of 7000 crores mainly devavoured by politicians and their benamies.
We the people of India are only concerned with Bachans and Rajini Khandhana and when Rahul is going to get married.
As Swami Vevikananda had said Arise Awake. Better late than never. Else suffer for ever.

I thought that there is a 1 or 2 Rs surcharge on the petrol/diesel for funding the national highway development.
Also an extra 1 or 2 Rs in Mumbai for funding of developing roads in Mumbai.

Communist are also power hungry
by raj malhotra on Jun 05, 2008 11:11 AM  Permalink

They will not withdraw because indirectly they are enjoying power with no responsibility and becoming use to it. I feel in India there is need two or three party system and only national level party should be allowed to contest Lok Sabha Election and the regional parties should be kept away from national politics.

Communist are worst example of state level politics , they are limited to 2-3 States and represent only few people and enjoying power with no responsibility. They should be sacked from country and should be sent to either Bangladesh to whom they support and China which is the founder of Communism
