WHAT ABOUT TAX RETURN LONG OVER DUE?
by Rajeev Naik on Jul 07, 2008 07:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Each year, tax authorities & others advise all concerned about tax payment to be made. However, in my case, I am yet to get refund for excess tax deducted bu my employer for the assesment year 2007-08. I had tried to get e-mail id of IT office concerned but the official IT site of GOI is silent about it.
IS THERE ANY FORUM ON THE NET WHERE REFUND DETAILS CAN BE ENQUIRED?

You can approach the Grievance Redressal Cell in your nearest Income Tax Office. Alternatively you can write to them about your issue. Visit the Income Tax India site and search for 'grievance'. Read all the information thoroughly before taking any action
