I thinks for future commitment, the responsibilities should be taken by the central govt instead of the state goverment for better coordinations & implementations so that curruptions can down. More facotry means more employment, doveloment and more revenure to the govt.
In the entire episode of Tata's Project at Singur, few things are appeared as facts. (1) Many of the competitors of Tata have seems supporting from behind the curtain. These people have great fear about the success of Tata. (2) The people of WB (specially the communist) have the rotten mental approach, they forget the glorious past of Bengal & since last 33 years (during the tenure of Communist Parties) the entire population of State have became idle & not willing to create anti- industriliast enviornment.
(3) Many people of Automobile Industries from whole world, not digesting the success of Tata's These are few of the reasons that create hurdles on the path of Nano.

Mamta has her eyes on the sigur land as its price has increased 4 times since the time WB govt purchased it....now agriculture is not possible there as anyone getting land there would sell it and book huge profit instead of Farming on it.......This speaks volumes about the attitude in Bengal which is to ask for free favours by doing nothing

Since independence south indian ppl only bring laurel for the country. you can not ignore the fact.
CPM had made our bengal a quite heal. Bustrad Joity and ruscal Budha has made already an uncivilized and uneducated socity in Bengal. Now these people so how people would realise the value of industry ? So for good industrilization we need proper education. For that first we need to remove CPM out of Bengal.

Ever wondered how come such an great Industrialist such as Ratan Tata decided to put up the Nano plant in Bengal.............
Its simple..he trusted the Bengali Managers..sadly he forgot the truth...these people are basically parasites....they can never contribute anything save misery..a mere look at their contribution to this nation is suffice..bangladeshi migrants...islamic misery added to this nation..all the blasts that have occurred in this nation from the last few yrs surely have Bangladeshi conections...and u see surely the bengali conection....now u know poor Ratan Tata will be made to bleed..the honour of this nation is at stake..notice Tata cannot meet the dead lines..Nano could fail under such circumstances..along with this will vanish the dream of millions of poor Indians who want to drive an cheap car....who benefits....bengalis are playing right into the hands of communists china and bangladeshi islamists..causing our nation to bleed...

u have heard few things & read few things but never studies or thought anything ? "a mere look at their contribution to this nation is suffice.."? you are from which state ? You are living in an independent country & have you read ever the Indian history, what are bengalees' contribution for India's independance ? Did you hear about Satyen Bose in Science or Rabindranath Tagore in all round culture ? I am not taking any more name, that will just make mewasting my time for a deaf & dumb fellow like you. One of those Tata Nano's offshore competitor is insigating and supporting Mamata to subotage the project so that the rolling out of Nano gets delayed. This will help them to curtaiul the Nano's headstart in the international market.
It is interesting to note that a person of the stature like Mr.Ratan Tata using the word

is really surprising.
Tata Motors is a public limited company and is owned by the public of India but not solely by the Govt. Even the GOvt has a stake in it through PSU banks, MFs, Insurance Companies share holding in Tata Motors.
Even the Tatas investment is not personal but from a Trust which the Tata family controls.
Despite all this Mr. Ratan Tata showing ownership signs like
I, Me, Myself is really intriguing!
As Peter F. Drucker said, Real and good leaders never say, I,Me, etc but say We, Us, etc. Not that they are trained to say these words in the place of I, ME, Myself, but they really think on those terms like WE, Us etc and really believe that success of an organisation is a team work.
Nano concept might be the brainchild of Ratan Tata but those who made it possible are the engineers and managers of Tata Motors. Yet Mr.Ratan Tata is walking away with all the glory!
There is even a cry from the so called educated people to confer BHARAT RATNA on Mr. Ratan Tata!
If you want to give some award give it to the entire organisation i.e Tata Motors! HEY REDIFF MODERATOR!

I think u r correct. Mr. Tata should be given credit, but the hard fat is Nano is not going to be a great product. It's the 1st product of it's own kind, that's all. Credibility is a big issue, it's a much more sofisticated & costlier version of a toy-car. The way he has approached regarding the land issue in West Bengal, doesn't show much maturity. It doesn't reflect a real 'Tata'ism as in past Tataleaders, it just show a business man's attitude & he can definitely say 'I' or 'Me'.. 'We' 'Us' were words for real Tata heros.
