These trusts invest heavily in development of India through educational institutions, scientific research centers and hospitals. They give hope to millions of Indians to believe that golden age of India is coming soon. Tata Moters paid 1-billion pound bid to to clinch Jaguar-Land Rover deal accepted by Ford. Tata group, paid $11.1 billion to acquire Anglo-Dutch steel maker Corus. Tata power sector bought significant stakes in two Indonesian groups, PT Kaltim Prima Coal and PT Arutmin Indonesia, for $1.1 billion.

I appreciate and respect TATA's contribution in India shining. May be Ambani is admire by everyone for his wealth but TaTa is respect by everyone for his contribution for development of India and society.
Tata cares for his buisness only. Tata now refuses to give a job to the next kin of his retired employee at various companies at Jamshedpur, now in Jharkhand. Tata's presence in West Bengal can not bring more industries in Bengal. Why then Bihar/Jharkhand are in so poor state? West Bengal will have more industries if trade unions change their attitude ie their leaders sincerely work along with their associates for the betterment of their industries , Infra-structures are improved, Produce more electricity(now there is long time load-shading throughout West bengal). Where there is no work culture in Govt hospitals, Public transports, Municiple corporations , Govt schools and all Govt undertaking firms are mostly sick , West Bengal govt wants TATA as a sign board of industrialisation. Let them take early action to improve work culture and Infrastructures many industries will come to West Bengal automatically as there is no dearth of skill workers. I was watching a bengali news channel on sunday, where they were telecasting Ms.Banerji's rally in singur live. The lady was accompanied by Amar Singh, who earlier wanted the Tatas to consider UP, when Mayawati was leading opposition. Also present was Mr.Somen Mitra, who a few months back was Mamata's political rival as WB State Congress chief, before leaving Congress and forming his own party, and joining Mamata in her anti-government/pro-farmer movement. Mr. Sharma , Tata alone can not change Bihar and Jharkhand. People and Politicians of Bihar has to bring revolution. Dont say like - Tata cares for his business only, Tata is true nationalist Industrialist. Jab tak rahega Bihar me Laoo, Tab tak tum khao samosa with aloo. I think every body of out side of WB should know.After 30 yrs ruled by Left-CPIM in WB d Farmers(mainly Lendless farmers) r d most gainer ,dats why d financial health of villages of WB in very good n 22000 cr rupees market has created in rural area. u will surprised dat ,last two-three yrs HERO HONDA has sold highest motorcycle in WB it is only due to change of village economy. Mr biswajit, Make a visit to any big Indian city outside bengal. All housemaid & rickshapuller for sure are Bengali. It does not reflect any rosy picture as you mentioned. Donot worship CPIM blindly unless you are cadre itself and enlisted in CITU list for job in nano factory.

....some years ago the tata's had airlifted mist of their senior managers of tata tea from Assam after the abduction of one of their managers by the ULFA.....the fact that they are willing to do this explains why they are one of the most respected employers....i know for a fact that there are very few such companies in the Indian firmament who would do this.....
What to say about this great man? He is the real ratna of India.Every word coming from him is a philosophy in itself.TATA empire is the testimony of his leadership.We Indians are really fortunate to belong to the same nationality & era as the great RATAN TATA.

Ratan Tata is truly admirable. TATA industries has given a lot to this country. And lets not forget, the whole world is watching us right now and waiting for this new Technology to come out. I really hope that petty politics does not tarnish the image of the country. At the end of the day, a developing country needs industrialization to stand up on its own feet.
Mr.Tata whose low cost car project aims at "a car for all", does reflect policies of demon king ravana who is praised in Ramayana for having achieved the same. So he is comparable to ravana
Rata is classic example of super hero for India. His work and saying would be appreciated by generations to come. Leading a business house which is respected for integrity and excellent product. Its not a joke. Indian society has basically been a lezy one. Creating world class product and services has never been in our priority list. Poltics, cricket, gossiping has always taken all our attention and dreaming. Ratan give us a new mind set, a new thinking - that we could excel too in this global village.
