What an amazing and inspiring story! I wish the guys who spend writing tens of pages in comments of an abusive nature after reading the political columns read this and realise what a blunder they are making.
Thanks a lot Rediff! for introducing a Holy, Inspiring, Intellect to me through this column. His simple living makes me more proud of him. I promise to live a simpler life and avoid any servants for me.
I am from UDCT and I recall 1996 when I was a student, Dr.KH was sitting besides me in the library reading some books with a large magnifying glass. I did not know who is this old man wasting his time in library. It was in 1998 when I graduated from UDCT, I realised the empire of truly Indian enterpreneuer who denied to take the technology from MNC.He developed his own R&D capability which is all "desi" technology, but still a world class. One must be proud of such giant patriot businessman !!
I am proud to be an Indian where such noble souls like Dr. Gharda are living. I am also happy that I am a Dombivlikar where Gharda Chemicals is located. I would given a substantial portion of my wealth to selfless souls like Dr Gharda, who make India and Indians proud. Alas, I also get an opportunity to contribute something to my motherland. May God bless Dr.Gharda with a very long life filled with a good physical and mental health. My humble salutations to noble souls like Dr. Gharda, TATAs and Dr Abdul Kalam. Last but not the least our sincere thanks to rediffmail for having brought to the notice of the universe the face of a hero who is not known in full. Ramesh Krishnamurthy Dubai
Many congratulations, rediff.com!!! A salute to your team for the effort and info update of a great soul.
And if this message is being relayed to Dr. Keki Gharda - A BIG SALUTE TO YOU SIR!!! Fantastic and a great achievement!!! May God bless you with more of courage, strength and confidence to serve the mankind.
Without doubt, your ideals, principles and concepts of life are very correct, justified and rightful.
I also believe, you need to continue to be soft and kind with MNC's while carrying on with your own indigenous ways. Definitely, there is no need for any kind of competition except for price affordability of respective products, market supplies/logitic solutions by MNC's or your comapny etc...
