Doctor and his ideas
by Kashinath Nag on May 12, 2007 02:37 PM  | Hide replies

We were used to call him doctor. I worked in his company from 1983 to the middle of 1986 as one his R&D managers in the product development cell.Fenvalerate,Isoproturon,Carbendazim,Quinalphos and Cypermethrin had been registered with Central Insecticide board and Registration Committee (CIB&RC)at that time.I knew the consequences we faced at that time. He was very simple,he asked me get an autoriksaw from Hotel to Krishibhavan in New Delhi because he had to appear before the Judge. After hearing his defending and glamourous speeches, everybody was stunned and kept bending their heads down. Dr. Malte and myself went their to cogratulate him to win over MNC.It was really something I never came across. It will be good if Dr. Mashelkar becomes the Chairman of GAT I am happy that Doctor has finanally agreed to tell some his successful facts to the editors of Moneylife.
