You taught me at the UDCT long ago 1960-61. I always thought of you as a visionary and an inspiration to all of us. In one of your surprise tests, only two students passed and I was one of them. That made my day. I have always marvelled at the grasp you showed of intricate subjects and the easy manner in which you unfolded their mysteries. I wished I had that ability. Your way of thinking out of the box made me do innovative work that hasresulted in commercially successful patents. I owe these to your guidance from afar. I haven't seen or met you in almost 45 years, but the lessons I learnt from you have remained with me.
One of my classmates named Bharat Lohana, joined Gharda Chemicals after his Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering, although he had got admission for B.E. He made a good decision to work under such a great man. i wonder where Lohana is today
