Wonderful piece by Sucheta Dalal and Debashis Basu. How one wishes such gems of India were better known than the pompous little people that the media loves to otherwise highlight - the Sachins who do not pay their taxes, the Gavaskars who hide cash in the cricket club lockers, the Ambanis who donate shareholders money to Wharton .. . the list is endless.
