LET LALU PRASAD YADAV DO THE JOB
by vasudevan surendran on Feb 28, 2007 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

With his wonderful railway budgets, he must handle the Finance Ministry atleast for once. So, Mr. Chindambaram, please handover the charge to Mr.Yadav as you proved a disaster as FM.

worst budget

This is worst ever budget where none of the expectations were met. All the progress he is talking about is due to NDA govt, and not due to UPA govt. I have decided that I will never vote for Congress.

if you did vote for congress last time this is wat was expected........didn't you have even a little of common sense that even after being the party in power for more than 50 years all they know is to give slogans like HUM YE KARNA CHATE HAI AUR HUM WO KARNA CHATE HAI...... but we will never do it.if at all anything good is done by someone we will take the credit of it and kill the actual person responsible for it.

PC's Budget a Mith
by Pramit sharma on Feb 28, 2007 01:26 PM

PC is not going by any logic for service class He only knows how to pinch and he is done this at his best in this budget. Congress is going to be a loser because of this budget. Where is any good point which can be highlighted in this budget. I think he does not wrk hard now only do a copy paste from his previous budgets. He is not creative. I find this as a most hopeless budget for industry and service class. LALOO YADAV SHOULD BE GIVEN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF FINANCE MINISTER

FM - DOWN DOWN
by kishore kishore on Feb 28, 2007 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

What Stupid budget is this ? I am sure FM is aware of what he is doing.I seriously doubt if we people had voted for the right sought of governance.I seriously urge all the people not to consider of bringing this sought of governance back in the coming elections.Imp aspects not considered in the budget
1.Exemption should have been raised to 1.5 Lakhs for both women and men.
2.No Duty on Coking Coal
[Kishore]I doubt if anyone is still using cooking coal, when they can get wood from forest.
3.Duty on Cut and Polished diamonds from 5 to 3%.
[Kishore]This has to be heavily taxed as it comes under Luxury.
4.Duty on pet foods down from 30 to 20%
[Kishore]FM is more bothered about pets food than that of humanbeings
5.Two lakh people to benefit out of service tax exemption. Govt to lose Rs 800 crore as a result
[Kishore] No the government should not face any loss.We will contribute all our earnings to the government so that it will be happy with lots of inflows of money. All the political bas****ds will get lot of money to eat upon.I doubt if ever our FM will tell that our government made some profits, if that is told then they have to show all that money. So eat as much as we can.

great budget so far in indian history
by j p on Feb 28, 2007 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

FM should hv to allocate more than 50% of budget to SC/ST/MINORITY. so he can devide citizen and be there at his post till he alive. and rest of 50% he can allocate to laskare toyba, jaise mohmad, simi and of cousre their promoter pakistan so we can tell world that we hv good relation with our neighbour.

thats what i strongly belive that FM SHOULD HV TO DO?? WHAT DO U THINK GUYS.... ANY SUGGESTION SO WE CAN DIVIDE OUR COUNTRY IN 1000 PIECE.

we hv lots of scheme (program) run by govt with name of naheru n gandhi family name.like Rajiv Gandhi Drinking Mission ,neharu yuva yojana, indira gandhi internation airport etc etc. i think we hv to change our country name from india, bharat, hinustan to neharustan,INDIRA OR RAJIVSTAN AND ALL OF THE CITY NAME SHOULD HV NEHRU-GANDHI NAME AND ALL PROGRAM SHOULD START WITH THEIR FAMILY NAME WHAT U SUGGEST

EVEN WE CAN CHANGE NAME OF CITY LIKE DELHI TO PRIYANKAPURAM, ALLAHABAD TO RAHULABAD LIKE THAT

ANY SUGGESTION???

Good Budget..taking care of 80-90% unbalanced income people
by subbu veerappan on Feb 28, 2007 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

It's a good budget altogether. I have read so many concerns about less exemption for salaried class. I am still not clear why noone understands that only salaried guys get a fixed income every month. You take either a farmer or a business man, he can only predict his income. It might work well or may not. It's good to consider reforms for farmers and business men.
Don't you agree we are getting paid almost 5-10 times more than what our work is worth for?
Do you think the kind of IT work we do is very tougher than any farmer/business man?
Don't be so narrow minded and think only about salaried persons (us). In every country they have very stringent policies to collect tax on salaried class people. Take either US or UK, its more worse than India. So if you want get competing with global countries, ofcourse we should compete on taxation also.

wat do u mean when u say businessman can only predict his income. Its not tds which is talked about. tax is calculated after the completion of the year and no prediction is involved at all.

I will summarize this budget as LACK OF EFFORT on part of the govt. I really fail to understand why they are not ready to put some time or effort to find much much better ways of improving the budget both for govt. & people in general.

I have heard his entire budget speech. He has highlighted the categories where he has increased allocation and all. He has even some relief in taxation too.

There r much better alternatives, which should have been though of. Govt. should really focus on increasing the no. of taxpayers (under direct & indirect tax) & trying to streamline the things, rather than increasing or maintaining the high tax rates.

Cant help much though. Anyways, best of luck.

This person is 100% CONGRESS man...
No body is getting 4-5 times salary. We work and we get paid for that work. And don't forget current GDP growth is because of IT only.
We don't mind giving tax exemptions to Farmers and we have to give them that because farmers are the base of our country.
But also there should not be any burdon on IT/Salaried people.

I am salaried class person, and I realise this that the price of all commodities over the year will keep on increasing because their is a human factor to every cost of production. As long as people will want more than they did last year, price rise will always be there! In any production manufacturing, service there is a human being involved if he getting paid daily or monthly! The thing is that we all have so much expectations that we will have more income to dispose and meet our requirements every year that this Budget is like a shot in the foot! However, I am not so upset about no change in personal taxes, but feel sorry about dividend tax being increased. What about those senior citizens whose only income is dividend from companies!

Have you been to abroad?
Min. deduction is 30% (in dollars) ok.
We guys are all so selfish that we just wanted to earn more that's it. If everyone goes out of country then how demand will get created and how guys will get good job here? Who said salary is more (don't convert dollars to indian rupees ok)...then every thing will be more there than in India.
It's a known fact that after we IT guys plunged into real estate market...it's heading towards a big scam...and you guys say we don't have enough money to survive..and need more exemption.....Very true very true...

This is really unfair.
1. They have increased the benfit for SC and ST, what about non SC ST pepole who belongs to middle class.
2. Why there is need of diffrence in excemption limit for MEN and WOMEN, when both are earning and serving the same family.
