The FM has once again let down the salaried class who pay their taxes sincerely. Including surcharge and education cess we are being taxed at 33.5% of our total annual income. With the home loans and cost of everyday living prices skyrocketing we cannot make a living in India
By not changing the tax limit, FM has underlined his determination to exploit the salaried class. I wonder why I need to pay such a heavy tax if I am not getting any benefits. Western countries levy heavy tax on individuals, but they give them back excellent living standards and social security. Mr FM can you take care of me if I lose my job tomorrow ?

the budget is good, there is already enough allocation for tax exemptions for salaried class.
It is a third class budget killing middle class people. For sure no body will vote Congress in next election. PC has decided to kill congress. Congretulations to him.

INR 10 k which works out to INR 1 k is all that the salaried class needs to counter the inflation index as per Mr. Finance Minister.
With the tax collections at an all time high, the least expected was a rationalisation of the existing tax structure but Mr FM seems to have missed the opportunity.
I know that Mr FM would be too busy now to read these blogs but am sure he would do so once this government is voted out of power.
