Budget 2007-08.
by Anantha Raman on Feb 28, 2007 01:39 PM

The budget of 2007-08 wore a lot of hope from the middle class subjects, but aha, this only has brought a very bad impression about the finance minister's inability to save the middle class people who form the most of the indian subjects.

Budget, 07-08
by Mohd Meraj on Feb 28, 2007 01:38 PM

THis budget is something which is unexpected, nothing is being done to curtail Inflation, no inducements in the economy, nothing. FM do not have foresight, somany comapnies are eager to enter india, no policies for them.
All in All its an AVerage Budget.

Was expecting revolutionary from FM

worst ever budget
by KRISHNA PRASAD on Feb 28, 2007 01:38 PM

This is the worst ever budget presented since independence. i do no know why FM is not learning lessons from the elections they lost in punjab,Utchl etc. this time they will be routed in entire India. Mr.Chidambaram should be now dismissed from the cabinet as he has once again proved that he is pro rich and anti poor. No tax Relief for salaried class which also indicate he is anti employee class. He has passed on huge benefits in thousands of crores in he form of cut in excise and custom duties to industrialists which I worked aat Rs.100000 crore. I believe has taken money from these industrialists and cut excise and customs duties for them. It is apparent that he is hand in glove with rich mafia. it is high time that PM should remove him from the cabinet

Budget or What
by Manish Sehgal on Feb 28, 2007 01:38 PM

I think this budget does no justice. Why bother giving benefits to salaried class, in any case they have to depend on someone to earn their livelyhood. Thanks Mr. FM for being so kind and giving a whopping Rs 10,000. Three cheers to you for this gift. Pl keep it up

In Humane Budget
by Sundar on Feb 28, 2007 01:37 PM  | Hide replies

FM is more concerned about Pets and their pet food rather than human beings!! Why waste so much of time on budget when there is nothing to talk about!! We can have budget once in 5 yrs rather than yearly budgets as there is nothing new/innovative to drive home!! Let congress stop heroworshipping in the naming the schemes like Nehru/Indira gandhi/rajiv/Sonia etc!!

FBT = Fully Bakwas Tax , introduced by our great PC.

Also tax bracket shud be :

upto 1 lakh = 0 tax

1 to 3 lakhs = 10 %

3 to 5 lakhs = 20%

That is proper budget & more people will pay tax , but at dcent rates
