No use for salaried persons
by ramineni balachand on Feb 28, 2007 01:55 PM

The salaried group is the only group which pays all the taxes. All the Business man and Politicians escape from what they earn. They are increasing their Black money without paying taxes. This budget also tries to pull more from Salaried group and giving a great chance to escapers from other sectors. 10000 increase in slab... who wants it.

Congress
by G on Feb 28, 2007 01:55 PM  | Hide replies

Nothing is going to happen unless and until the middle class (salaried class) thinks that VOTING is essential for their survival.
All this is happening because of negligence of middle class about their voting rights. Congrees is pulling their VOTE(selfish) bank out of their houses and winning the elections.
In any constituency mere 50% voters go for voting where there are about 20 candidates. Winner gets 15% of votes( actual 7.5% of total votes) and rules for 5 years.

Give your Vote to any candidate but don't give it Congress at any cost.
It's our duty to present the facts before common man(who is being fooled for years). We have to take the initiative now so that atleast our next generation will be free from this type of religion and caste based politics.

I agree with you. Well said. In democracy, strength matters and the salaried class has to show their strength by voting. Let the rulers understand that they have to cater to salaried class also. This they do only when they are sure that these people also vote.

BUDGET 2007
by cvrrao on Feb 28, 2007 01:54 PM

Mr PC as usual has pandered to business lobbying, leaving the honest salaried tax payer in the lurch. PC represents COngress very well, a party that has long since shed its roots and forgotten the polity.

Service-Tax telephones should be removed...
by DG RAJESH on Feb 28, 2007 01:54 PM

Dear FM

Plz reconsider the Service-Tax on Telecommunication sector..

The Telephone or Mobile phone is one of the

basic need to a common man

but 12.24% is a huge cost to them

if they'r used telephone/ mobile for

Rs. 1000 means they have to pay almost 112

as a Service-Tax...

If really required Service-Tax, then fix some

ceiling, so that the common man can live

withou this Service-Tax problems.

Then it'l b only on Rich people who r

using for their royal life...

atleast Rs. 1000- 2000 ceiling should be considered to the poor & middle class people.

Regards

D.G. Rajesh, KOTA, Rajasthan
