Utter Nonsense in the budget
by ragu Iyengar on Feb 28, 2007 10:04 PM  | Hide replies

A lazy man called Chidambaram given a big "thiruvodu" (beggers plate)to all the salaried class. Taxing this class is a luxury because all the revenue dept work is shifted to employers. For this "Khamchore" activity he is called finance minister.

Please impose Inheritance Taxes in India.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inheritance_taxes

They will reduce wealth inequalities in the society and it is a onetime tax during lifetime.

So, you think the children should be penalised for their parent's sins, i.e., earn money and make some property.

Lalu ullu banata hai...All the decreases in ticket fairs are applicable for only new design coaches. Everybody would be surprised once they come to know this after implementation of budget

INFLATION FEVER IS ON THE RISE
by UmaShankar SathyaKumar on Feb 28, 2007 09:44 PM  | Hide replies

Let me share another of view:

I think Chidhambaram is in the grip of 120 degrees of inflation fever. The budget looks like that it has been modified in the last two weeks. I am sure that PC doesn't want the inflation to touch 7%.

Take a look at the world economy. Stock markets are crashing and inflation is on the rise in many countries in the Europe, China, Japan and US. The BBC world business report is discussing a possibility of recession in the US.

So, Chidhambaram want us to save rather spending. So, that he can recover from inflation fever.

Well...I am note sure if it is good for Indian economy and how poor Indians can find ways to get out of poverty. It is easily to comment on PC than actually performing from his shoes.

Take a deep breath...have a cup chai...do your own finance budget to make your life happier..So, that you don't get Chidhambaram's inflation fever...

Her is the sample:

House Rent/Loan
Electricity
Gas
Cable
Telephone
Mobile
Internet
Grocery
Petrol
Insurance
School/College Fee
Insurance
Gifts
Misc

Dear Umashankar,
Please talk of India. Do not compare India to the west. What kind of sicial security do we have here? An honest Tax payer will be begging on the streets if he does not have a job, though he may have paid IT for many many years.
About your notion of saving, what will the "aam aadmi"save if his earnings are insufficient for his living???

by Rahul on Feb 28, 2007 09:25 PM

IT IS A PHOTOCOPY OF THE SAME RUBBISH MATERIAL THEY HAVE BEEN TALKING SINCE INDEPENDENCE. NO CHANGES. ONLY MORE TALK, LESS ACTION. IF INDIA HAS PROSPERED IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION, TELECOM, INDUSTRY, TECHNOLOGY, IT, HEALTHCARE, IT IS PURELY BECAUSE OF FEW INDIAN ENTERPRENEURS AND NOT BECAUSE OF GOVERNMENT POLICIES.

What a complex system!
by Anoop R on Feb 28, 2007 09:18 PM

Sir, I propose before you these measures:
1. 15% tax on all goods/services.
2. Abolish all other taxes(income/excise/customs/sales).
3. Free food for whoever demands.
4. Health sector - free for all.
5. Education sector - free for all. No private education allowed. Those who study overseas (except after graduation) will lose claim on inheritance.

End of proposals.
Now, stop dreaming, and see your CA.
