Laloo as FM
by anand burli on Feb 28, 2007 02:04 PM

It's better if the mantle of Finance Ministry is given to someone who knows and understands the common man. So I request our Hon. PM Manmohan Singh to move out this elite Gentleman Chidambaram from this job and bring in Laloo Prasad.

Enjoy the chhota pav.
by rakesh chaurasia on Feb 28, 2007 02:03 PM

I believe Finance Minister is deaf and dumb and surrounded by a bunch of learned bureucrate advising him on policies. Most important is the Prime Minister itself is unable to understand the finace of common man (salaried taxpayers). Parliament has become a bunch of most respected chunk of society which hates society at large. Everytime parliamentarians take no time in finalising the policies which takes care of their prosperity and comfort by passing the burden to us and giving an exemption which is nothing more than Rs. 3 per day. So enjoy the Chhota Pav and not the bada pav every day....Ha ha ha

Budget 2007
by Pankaj Ramani on Feb 28, 2007 02:02 PM

Its a shit budget for salaried class who cannot hide their income.
If PC could not reduce tax ( to control inflation) ..what has made him to limit the threshhold limit to only 1,10,000.......why not 2,00,000 ?..so that people save more and spend less ( to control inflation)

I Agree
by saif naik on Feb 28, 2007 02:02 PM

Salaried class has not been thought off. The education cess( should be called polotical cess, ends up in ministers pockets anyways) has been increased too.96000cr for defence spending, why is this required. If they could spend 1/2 of this on salary increments in DRDO and ISRO good talent would join , these ppl are only in filling pockets of Russia,US and israel. 1000 rs tax exemption...wow that makes a difference :-).

cement duty cut, education cess up, tax saving of rs 1000, pet food excise duty cut. who will benefit? who cares if a pet dog food duty is cut? only the rich. why should it be cut?
There are more emplyment generated by more pvt sector investment and more peple are now salaried class. this is a major vote bank. Mr. Minister please be a politician that focusses on votebank. please try to garner the 'salaried class'vote bank. they are the AAM AADMIS.
this govt tries to split the majority class and harbour the minorities. so this even reflected beyond caste and religion it also spreads to the salaried class.

fie on you FM . bye to you!

No dear, though i agree with you i would say one thing we the salaried people are not their votebank, because they know that most of the salaried people are educated and they understand what congress actually is and they know that these educated people are not going to vote for them and hence no relief for us. You know salaried people and specially working in private sectors are being punished for earning foreign revenues for the govt. DON'T EXPECT MUCH FROM THE CONGRESS ATLEAST, EXPECTATIONS ARE CAUSE OF MISERY. LETS INTRODUCE THEM TO MISERY IN NEXT ELECTION.
