On one hand, our dear FM says they will curb the inflation, on the other hand they just dont do anything. Increase of 10,000 Rupees in the tax limit (1000 savings) is neutralised by 2 to 3% increase in the education cess. Congrats to our great FM. Pls do keep it up sir! One more so called dream budget from you. We will meet in the elections. In the sort term, you will see the repurcussion in UP elections. You will also see the same in the next Loksabha elections too .... May God book a seat at Heaven for you for giving India a wonderful budget!!!
Budget is for Rich people at the cost of middle class people & poor class. Rich people cry is heard loud than poor & middle class people. In the name of welfare schemes budget is shown done lot to people. In turn, rich people get of benifits for e.g now rich people can fly where ever they want as turbine fuel cess has been redued so that avation industries introudce more plans at cheaper rates. FM could have removed deprication on Cars owned by companies so that tax collection could have gone up and inturn he could have rised limit Income tax exemption.
This is the most disappointing Budget that one can hope for.
There is nothing for the vast Middle class. The increase in the tax excemtion limit by Rs.10,000.00 is a cruel joke.
This is totally out of step with the spiraling inflation.
Mr. Chidambaram seems to think that the concept of "Increase in revenues" is of paramont importence even if it involves recovery through "ordinances" - Remember the ITC Case.
He has no idea that ppl can think and in a democracy Act too.
Mr. Chidambaram, wait for the next General Election, you can enjoy a happy retired life along with the entire ruling party..
The gov. is just finding new ways in each budget to tax the amm admi... we the middle/salarised class have to pay what we earn to gov. to keep this country intact and these politicians are having a ball......
Mr FM, First stop corruption and check the inflation....
Addition of 10000 Rs is the reward by our Great FM to his favourate hunting ground-so called honest tax payers.
He defiantely is not a comman man'sFM. May be he is the FM for corporates in which case he should be working for them & someboy like Lalu should be the FM who whatever we say atleast does something for comman man.
Salaried people have always been the victims of the bloody political games. Why? The only reason is that we do not have any body to raise our voice!!! The only we can do is to unite and oppose our exploitation. With our hard earned money, these bloody politicians build their wealth. They spend our money and enjoy! They use luxurious cars and villas, their son and daughters go to discos, take drugs, goes to foreign trips!! At the cost of our money!!!

They take some real actions on the ground instead of talking bullshit theory like Chidambaram and Manmohan Singh. UPA Govt. is getting praises mainly because of Lalu and Dayanidhi from supporting parties. In Congress, Pranab Mukherjee is the best performing as he stays clear of all controversies. No other minister is worth anything.

If Chidambaram is made Railway minister, there will be taxes for using pantry car, entering and leaving coaches, occupying the railway platform for more than 30 minutes, drinking water from railway station taps etc etc.
