No surprises

Read the budget, went through the details. All I can say is: Congress is going bye bye in a lot of states. No FM has the guts to pull out agriculture subsidies as it would affect the populist vote bank. When such is the case, one can not hope for a better budget. Well done. Now get ready to get your butt kicked when the middle class goes to vote.

No sir, they all are hopeful, now we are hopeless. This govt has given us only inflation, petrol hike and other hikes, nothing else. Mr. P Chidambaram should immediately relook into this matter. Why only salaried persons paying tax others like professional doctors who charges 150 rs/head/visit and see around 200 patient, howmuch tax are they paying. Does Mr. Chidambaram know about this.

All tax paying people of this country should Come out in protest of this budget and show their strength which will be a alarming signal to the FM. We are being taxed too much. We can change this with firm belief and unwavering determination. Yes, we can change the Tax Laws.

Violence does not pay. Punishment does. So, instead of targeting people in power, target those who are not in power - no political and security support. They will be easily accessible and can be brought to justice.

Typical Congress Socialism
by santo sweeto on Feb 28, 2007 02:56 PM

They are yet to get out of Nehruvian Mould. They still live in the past. Incorporated Socialism in the Constitution only to see that it does not work after 60 years.
Nehru lived under the Socialist club naming the roads of Delhi after thugs like TITO and Nasser.

The Collapse of Eastern Europe shows a reasoning for his short sighted policies. Congress should be wiped from the face of the earth.
