by Milind Saraf on Feb 28, 2007 03:47 PM

FM has lost his touch in Finance department and should quit his seat. The PM owns the accountability who is inturn driven buy Madam Sonia.

Shame on u Miss. Sonia.

You should feel ashamed that the FM has presented a budget when the country is running in disiaster of inflation.

Better not to give benefit of 10,000

it is meaningless to give peanuts to the salaried class. They are the only honest taxpayers, why milk them more and more and dry them out

Budget 2007-08

After seeing so many messages from salaried people criticizing F.M., I would like tell only one thing. When we point one finger to the opposite person fourfingers are pointing to us. Is it not our responsibility to pay taxes. Definitely, the salaried class is the only one class who pay their tax honestly because of TDS. If not definitely they will also search for ways and means to evade tax.

sure subba i never claim that i have inherit the genes of harishchandra but what i want to know is if you can TAX salaried people with such iron fist how come that you cant do anything about rich tax evaders those who roam in big cars and still pay 10000 tax ? why is it that a bussiness man can distribute his income equally in his household (say his wife his childs wh do nothing in his business) to make tax nil but we are ot allowed to pay half of the money to our wife as a fee to maintain our house so efficiently?
i never say dont tax but think about the principle of equality as well we are also cheaters but give us chance as well. :)

Rules for next elections
by Kamal Kant on Feb 28, 2007 03:46 PM

Hi All,

I think Some rules should be added to constitution:

Finance Minister should be having good degree in
economics and before becoming FM- he has to face
an interview from the panel of common public.

All MPs, MLAs should be minimum graduate.

There should be some retirement policy after 45 years age for politicians.

Budget
by partha sarathy on Feb 28, 2007 03:46 PM

Dear FM,
A small suggestion. If it is worth pl.do consider. Why not abolish tax on salaried class. What the revenue the Govt.gets out of taxing this class.Pl consider the tax collection machinery expenditures to collect tax from salaried class. What is the use of Maintaing departments with highly paid officers, maintaining huge exp.on administration and other related measures to collect tax and then to refund.I suppose the revenue collection in this salaried class is much lessthan the amount of expenses to collect the tax.I hope this is worth to consider. Will you Pl.FM?

lalu yadav should be the next finance minister of India.
by aditya sharma on Feb 28, 2007 03:45 PM  | Hide replies

P.C. told that the limit has been increased from Rs.50,000 to Rs.1,00,000 but actually it is not the standard deduction of Rs.30,000/- and 80L Rs.15,000/- has been withdrawn where is the net result.a big zero. I think P.C. should study in Nursery class to learn the addtion. I think lalu yadav would be the best Finance Minister of India as he understand the pain of Aam Adami
