Budget non realistic.
by Hargobind Walia on Feb 28, 2007 03:56 PM

A common man has nothing to do with the GDP or any such figures. What he needs is a comfortable level of living where he can fulfill his basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, education and medical needs without tension. Thousands of crores are spent on fictitious schemes and programs which have no results. All this money goes down the drain. In india the productive income is going down and unearned income is increasing. What i mean to say is income generated from on line trading of stocks and shares and commodities like food grains and pulses etc. lead to fictitious increase in prices and the ultimate burden of it is borne by the end user, that is the common man. This gives rise to inflation. The prices of food items had increased sharply from the time the online trading of these food items started. To reduce the inflation the middlemen between the producer and the enduser should be reduced. Online trading of food grains, pulses and other such commodities of normal day-to-day use of common man should be banned. Schemes should be introduced to increase productivity. In other words "dalali band honi chahiye". A farmer who puts maximum effort in producing gets nothing, not even his costs, leave away his labour and returns. But middlemen who trade in these very commodities are flourishing - WHY?

Tax exemption to female employee
by sanjeev karn on Feb 28, 2007 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

I don't know why more exemtion in given in case of female employee?

In India I think mostly man are employed in a family. He takes care of his family. There is only 0.1% female employee who is working in her family and his husband / father is dependent on her. In most of the cases where female is employed in a family male is also employed there. But our FM / Government gives more exemption to such a family who were earning more than a middle class family where only single male is employed.

Now dont you see there is a reason why women should not sit at home. They should also earn. If we dont learn the lessons of modernisation, the FM is teaching us the hard way
