I think Mr Laluji should take the Finance Ministry in his hands. Look at him; once he took the railways in his hand the graph of Indian Railway's income is going up. Could anyone do this in the past? Lalu must only can put a good show.

u r saying as if lalu is the one who did all the creditible work..if railways go on the same way for the next 2-3 yrs then it wud be a disaster.but still he did a good job.

Even though I am not supporting this budget I will not at all accept Lalu as FM. The Same Lalu what did for Bihar? He is the only one destroyed the Bihar. As lalu said the credit will go to railway officials and railway state minister for railway budget,
We pay Income Tax, then service tax, sales tax,road tax, land tax, VAT, development tax in some regions, higher tax on beverages..so on and so forth.
They have put VAT on medicines!!! my god..What does this means---> If I fell ill, or got a severe medical problem ..go to buy medicine(costly) and pay TAX to Govt. Mean falling ill in this cuntry is a crime..You have to pay TAX to gov if you fall ill. This govt takes from you even if you are fighting for your life in a hospital.
So much tax at each place..My income gets Taxed heavily. again I buy some commodity I have to pay TAx, I get some service, I pay TAx, I fall ill , I pay tax..TAx TAx every where.for so long.
In developed countries They take TAx but in return,,they provide a beautiful country, Primary education of every child of the country is absolutely free, They give employement stipend to every youth, medical facilities for senior citizen...etc.
What we get in return.. big banglows of these poloticians..there bank acc running in crores.
We must give tax at only one place man.
Acc to a survey by Times some yrs ago...an Indian pays the highest Tax as compared to his income and gets nothing.

Thanks Mr. Singh, in fact the Govt is now going on a tremendous research. The reasearch is after levying tax burden on common salaried people how long does they take to be ill. And the great financial rule, "less the number higher the advantage", how can it be proved if we are not decreased in number?

I fully agree with your comments. Added to that these ministeres always say they are increasing the tax revenue in order to increase infrastructure we dont know what are they, because even for new roads, they collect tax in the name of "Toll Fee", then where we are getting infrastruture on free of cost...

How do you came to this figure 2.1 lacs..!!! amazing... If my income is less than 2.1 lacs..I will end up not paying much tax.I wolud not have been worried about this at all.

pay tax!! what ever gov says ..follow blindly like a cattle.!! Thsi is the only problem with Indians.
In delhi, gov incresead the electricity charges by 10%. People like you would have "happily" paid it.
But an organisation consisting of senior citizens came out and marched against the nonsense rise in charges.
Then Delhi Govt took back the decision and just there was a 2% rise.
So man worry about some things that are going to affect general people. You don't know and your money is getting converted in the luxuries of politicians.
Yes we must pay Tax, but once not every where.. and its consumption must be tranaprent to people.
I think the FM is planning well in advance for his retirement(as a senior citizen) and possibly his wife and daughters running the household. The least he should do is to EARN a MIG salary and live in it.He is put his thoughts very clearly ... GARIBI HATAANE KE LIYE, GARIBON KO HI HATAO.
The FM has made it a point to squeeze the middle class.The congress will pay for this by its nose.I dont know where did he study economics if he at all did..

How can People like our Ministers make a Budget for the whole country like India. They are not even educated. This task should be given to the pannel of highly educated Jury who will decide collectively.
Mr. FM What a joke of raising tax exemtion from 1 to 1.1 lakh? Maximu banefit of Rs. 1000? Then raising 1 % education cess. It is a cruel joke. Why descrimination between gents and ladies in paying tax? Welldone dhothi wala FM.
