This is a punishment for all of us to vote Congress led UPA
by Lalit Kumar on Feb 28, 2007 04:15 PM  | Hide replies

This budget shows that this is a punishment for all of us to vote Congress led UPA.
Guys take lesson and do whatever we can do to bring down this goverment.
Inflation rate is going high, interest rate for home and personal loan has increase so high that owing a flat becomes a day dreaming to most of us.
Still, Servise tax, FBT are being increased.

So, we have 1 year to bring down this goverment.

Why r so worried abt this budget??
by Jugal Agrawal on Feb 28, 2007 04:13 PM  | Hide replies

Why we salaried ppl so worried? This time we shall pay 1000 less than last year.
This all is our fault that we don't show our power at the time of election. On the election day we spend our time in watching moovie and enjoying. We think "what is a difference if I don't vote". Now why we are crying????
These politician understand the language of votes & think for those who elect them. On an average there is about 50% voting & most of educated don't vote.
I think, we don't have right to blame any government unless we vote. Those days are gone when 70% population lived in villages. We should use our right of vote to answer any government policies. These politicians have a very close eye from where they are getting votes & they change their policies & language according to that. Let we salaried people be united & ask the government "why should we pay for your luxary"?

I would also like to add here that power of voting should be given in those hands who know its value. Also there should be easy rules for "tax payer"/"people who stay remote to their home town" so that they can participate in election process. Actually politician do not like to implement such process because once there will be a active participation of voters in election, they will losse their their freedom to fool "Bechari Janta" on useless issues.

Mr. Jugal is correct. Ony 50% of the people vote and many of us do not vote and spend time in watching movie or go to hill station and enjoy holiday. Therefore now take lesson and everyone of us shall vote to oust this Govt. Are you aware that out of 50% voters many of them are from slums? who do not know about their rights. They can be purchase by giving Rs.500/-

Hey Manisha,
Mind your language first. I never said that India is not a country of farmers now. My concern is with salaried people & most of them are now living in cities. Do you know What is the ratio of jobs between villages & cities?
As far as my community is concern, I born & braught up in village & now working in top IT company of the world. For your information I never missed my right of voting.

You sound like a complete idiot to me. Why don't you send me your phone number and I'll teach you a lesson in minding one's language punk....Who cares about your bloody intention you nitwit? You never missed a chance to cast your vote and thats why we've had generations of insipid politicians controlling the country. I say we should all NOT vote and make a statement against dishonest, incapable candidates supported by semi-educated buffoons like Agarwal.

Don't say that. Now all the educated people have realised the importance of voting and they are voting without fail. You won't believe I travelled from Delhi to Chennai just to vote on the last election and I found many have come from various placed to take part in the poll.

Is this the man graduated from Havard? In fact the peoples of India must choose a FM atleast not from a family who have been born with silver spoon in its mouth. Will he ever understand how much struggle have to do a salaried middle class person having even a small family member? Does he know that a middle class salaried person have to work for 12 months and can enjoy the salary of only 10 or 11 months? he should be thrown out.
