Defence/Institution!!
by Good Girl on Mar 01, 2007 12:39 PM  | Hide replies

Having alloted 96000 crores to defence, do u think its being really used for welfare of country. Inspite of such a large share being alloted why do still terrorist attack take place. no common man is sure of returning safe or even returning home once he/she goes out.

By alloting funds for schorlaship, i really wonder how many have really been benefited by it. For instance, I myself have come across a guy who had cleared all India exam and secured rank 6 but he was a poor guy to pursue medical post graduation. And still there was no scholarship offered to him. Then where is all this scholarship going?

Worst ever

Seems P. Chidambaram is confused. Too may string pulling from all ends. Pathetic. I hoped he should have widened the tax base for roping in more tax evaders.

Are we really interested in our nation building and development???!!!
by Rajesh M on Mar 01, 2007 10:44 AM

Any politician or leader or political party in really and genuinely interested to reform the taxing system in our country?.

Do we know the sales taxes, we are paying for our consumable such as soap, paste, cigarettes, etc...are going to government?

Where are they going?
Who is benifited from our contribution?

Anybody has an answer?
Truely many of us may not have - I too don't know.

But one thing is sure. This is why the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming wider and wider, if you think logically.

Untill these kinds of reforms are in place, no budget will help us.
Have all the 56 ~ 58 budgets helped us?

Not voting is also a manifestation of right to vote. If the ballot paper provides the option of "None of the Above", a lot of people who ordinarily do not vote will go out and vote. Not voting does not take away thr fundamental roght of expression.

You do not vote, and why do you think your "vote" (read opinion) should be counted?

By not voting you are allowing criminals to win elections. And good people are not participating in elections because they do not have garuntee that people will vote him/her. Many good participants have lost elections to criminals. And it is only because of people who give many excuses for not voting.

Now do you know that every citizen has right to information. Have you taken any intiation to study what that right is? Are you planning to use that right sometime in your life?

Speaking nonsense on public forum does not need brain, dude. It needs sincere efforts to improve the situation - from all sector of the society. Majority of Indians are like you - actionless, we indian know only talking and talking, no action at all - so we all deserve what we get from politicians, mind well.
