i think FM does not understand middle class fillings, no relief for tax payers employees, who are largest in india are now hating cong FM, they will see the results in next polls.
In the past years PC has submitted very good budgets and we have seen the effect of those reforms. Just because salaried class (which is 10-20% of total population) have not been given enough exemptions...we cannot totally throw this guy out...this message board talks lot of nonsense...Guys here dont even know what they are talking about...and does it have any value...and they blame FM who was successful in all past years...shame on you guys... Also note, FM has acted properly not reducing any tax exemption and also kept inflation in mind..so not given any more exemptions...

Your views against PC is welcome but don't support Yeshawant. What has he done when he was FM? He has done nothing that's why the BJP lost its power. No FM has done anything good for Salaried Class. We should show our strength now . . . but how?!?!? Will just shouting for few days then silent!?!?
Why the tax exemption limit of ladies is more than gents? Actually this should be the opposite ,i.e. tax exemption limit of gents should be more than ladies. Because, in general a girl will not marry an unemployed (or lower salary than her) boy. So, for the double-income group the tax is less than the single-income group!!!!! Strange politics.

Hi, very much agree with you. By government slogan, men and women are equal, While giving seats to contest Parliament & State legislatures, men are more equal than the women, While giving IT exemption, women are more equal than women. It's true that the families getting double income are benefitted more. By this measure the FM is helping to distort the economic equalities of middle class families. The budget is prepared by the government "Fund Manager"(FM) with a high end "Personal Computer" (PC). The common man can't expect more from "Un Pleasant Alliance" (UPA)
IN TAMIL "CHIDAMBARA RAHASHYAM" MEANS TOP SECRET THIS BUDGET BY CHIDAMBARAM : HE ALONE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WANTED TO DO. DOES MR. FM AWARE WHAT ONE CAN DO BY INCREASING THE IT LIMIT BY 10000/- THIS COULD BE THE WORST EVER PRESENTED BUDGET. I THINK HE IS MAKING THE JOB EASY FOR BJP TO COMEBACK TO POWER
I am fed of hearing comparison with ASEAN & CHINA. Has anyone done any calculation or comparison how the tax rates are there? how are their infrastructural facilities etc??
