FM s well thought budget
by pariyarath sudhakaran on Feb 28, 2007 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

It is really remarkable that the FM & Co have taken a detailed and long term planning program in this budget. This is not a politically motivated thinking, but the growth of our nation

is given importance rather than individuals.

We are likely to much better with Psychologists and marketing guys than economists. A bottle of drinking water ( 1 litre) is Rs. 14, A litre of Milk is Rs 16 and the average beach price to the fisherman of a kg of fish is Rs. 10. The cost of capital to the producer is above 60 %. Will there be any resolution in the crisis of the so called AAM ADMI. Will there be any consideration of the value that he adds? Not likely because the system is yet to understand the grass root reality.

A litre of milk is Rs 20/- and increasing every 15 days. We talk of undernourishment of children? An understatement

well said.i thought he would let go of the surchage.instead he levies more burden on the corporates.talk of killing the golden goose that lays the eggs.i think it should be laloo prasad yadav amd not manmohan and co. running the coutry.atueast he understands he value of increasing volumes and keeping the costs low.there is little point in having educated politicians, they have no political will. they take populist decisions that never really bring benifits as they donot get executed.still they never learn.

There is no doubt Govt employees salaries required, they are behind the politicians. But with out proper direction from ministres they cannot deliver the goods. The same Bureacrats were there before, but definately Laloo budget was better than earlier budgets. The credit goes to Laloo

This is the time we all educated Ppl has to learn something from this type of pro-Non Result Oriented Budget. We the ppl only crray only when the negative result come to our door we has to take a lesson from this & give good reply for the same. We think FM is not taking any care for the rate of inflation along with raise in rates of interest in the last year for the loan

A very good question. I was wondering why the FM cannot give a report card of how he has spent the 2% he has colllected and we would atleast feel nice to know where and how it was spent or has it gone to some pockets?

If everything could be explained in an hour, we wouldn't need to live through this beautiful life to learn about its immaculate intricacies and various complexities. I am sure the 1% increase is justified. He just didn't talk about it during the budget presentation. Now you guys all promise to be nice little boys and girls and stop complaining.

income tax & corruption
by bahadur rajput on Feb 28, 2007 04:27 PM

Sir, Long expected cut in I.Tax has proved to be futile. Why public servants are corrupt. Tax deduction is one of the factors. If you do not get sufficient to meet your needs, one tries to get it any way.. RESULTING CORRUPT PRACTICES.Taxable salary should be without allowances. Why the blood of poor service man is being sucked... turning them to be corrupt.
