Budget - 07-08
by anilkumar kucheria on Feb 28, 2007 05:29 PM

Its indeed a matter of shame & sorrow that the middle class has totally remained uncared whereas our Hon'ble F. M. knows this thing very well that the Govt. earns the highest revenue from them only. What's point to increase the exemption limit by a meagre Rs. 10,000/-, absolutely an ignorable amount. The country's highest population earns by Salary where there is hardly an amount they can keep for their saving to meet the various unforeseen and seen expenditure like any disease., accident, daughter's marriage & so ...

While fully agreeing with you Anoop may I draw your attention that BJP is no better than Congress, both are evils for this nation, BJP's Finance minister Yashwant Sinha was also like Chidambaram who did not care for poor, it was in BJP's Rule that Bank interest rates were bought down from 13% & 14 % to mere 5 & 6 % which hit badly poor and retired old persons who were solely dependent on interest Income.Interest rates cut helped Industrialists and not poor man. BJP lost because of Yashwant Sinha and congress lost recently held elections because of Chidambaram. Let us make sure and not forget to vote against Congress in next elections.
mafatlal.

Indeed we expected this type of Budget from Mr.P. Chidambaram-because we know very well about his one-sided perspective and narrow outlook. Every one will curse this foreign educated guy.

And this leads us to think why not we elect a practical man like Lalu for P.M. Post instead of these Economists like Mr. Manmohan and Mr. Chidambaram.

Budget 2007 - 08
by K Rana on Feb 28, 2007 05:25 PM

I don't think this is a balance budget. Every thing being effected. Inflation will not be in control, prices will go up there is no control at all. Even the salary class who are paying tax honestly are most sufferer.

This budget should be revised to a large extent.

The left and other parties should withdraw the support if not revised to giving benefit to salary class.

It is effecting stock market the biggest fall ever in the history.

Over all very bad budget. Must learn lesson fro Shri Lalu Prasad.

Railway budget is a good for all categories of people and there must be a pat for lalu.

Start Taxing on the air you are breathing and water you are drinking
by Parameshwara PR on Feb 28, 2007 05:24 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. FM, why have you left the items air you are breathing and water you are drinking exempted from Tax. Immediately apply the rule of paying the Tax for these two items usage in your daily life. This junk kind of Budgeting problem is always there with the Congress Government coming into to rule. Pity about India people.

There is no clarification whether the FM has reduced the age of senior citizen from current 65 to 60 for getting tax exemption.
