Guru is very much dear to me. Whatever I am is because of my Guru, Shri Devappa , my sanskrit teacher during my high school who had given the moral support necessary at that time. I thank him from the core of my heart.
I had a guru who was self realised soul. And he was direct disciple of Kanchi Sankaracharya (chadrashekar saraswathi swamigal and maharishi mahesh yogi) He thought me kundalini yoga and transandental meditation. To this day i chant the maha mantra he has given me and only that is taking me forward. Apart from this guru i consider RAMANA MAHARISHI as my guru as his teachings are simple to understand and practical, he is like a super man among GURUS. He has never gone out of tiruvannamalai but he attracted disciples from all over the world. He himself has told chanting OM NAMO BHAGAVATHA SRI RAMANAYYA will give self realisation. GURU means one who removes DARKNESS, Ramana is one such guru, just by thinking about him we can know our true self. My pranams to all the gurus of the world.
