to what extent i want to diet
by fhf on Sep 20, 2006 02:33 PM  Permalink

Whether thin is attractive or not! I dont give a damn to anybody's opinion. I think i have a short life and want to enjoy, especially with the world cuisine coming in.

I think one should diet but not for becoming in the eys of society but for her sole well being. Maintain wieght, exercise so that in the long-term you dont become a victim of illneses like heart-attack, oestoporosis, diabetes, ...etc

After all everyone wants to extent their short-life and during their ending days want people to remember for other reasons rather than 'oh Thank God! He finally relieved her form such pains'

So, Dont Diet Eat Healthy :)

Ultra thin = Ultra ridiculous = pathetic
by Puneet Kedia on Sep 20, 2006 02:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If thin = attractive, women like Catherine Zeta Zones, Carmen Electra, Angelina Jolie, ... would have never made it to any list of World's most beautiful/attractive women. Have a look at any of the list released by various magazines and web-sites and you will not find any ultra thin women in the 'top 10 most beautiful women' list. There is more to being a beautiful lady than being just a bonny mess. When I hold a women, I don't want to get the scary feeling that I am holding just a skeleton. You never know when it is going to collapse.
Women should target at being fit and not just being slim. There's nothing better than a well toned curvaceous body achieved by eating healthy and exercising. The Madrid Fashion Week has taken a really good step in spreading the message and the London Fashion Week (along with others) should follow the suite.

Hai,
You need to refer to an ideal ht Vs wt chart and see for yourself how much you need to reduce. If only tummy is your problem, then you need to do some abs exercise. Refer to "Slimmer fitter you in 8 weeks" article in rediff get ahead or get attached to a gym. All the best.

Thin - NO No
by S.Malhotra on Sep 20, 2006 12:59 PM  Permalink

Thin girls are attractive only as models. It is only woman's body that attracts man. Lady with no curves looks like a railway compartment. If girls start taking less diet then with malnutrious body how can they become a healthy mother. Actually this tendency is ruining our next generation.

preferring thin/curvaceous women
by prasad on Sep 20, 2006 12:43 PM  Permalink

I definitely do not like the thin/emasculated look.
I unabashedly love women with delightful curves, but not with a fat tummy. I never can like the reed-like anorexic look made dangerously famous by the fashion industry, what with the likes of Kate Moss et al.

Does thin = attractive?
by Joseph on Sep 20, 2006 12:39 PM  Permalink

I just hate to see thin women. I really do not understand why our Indian women are following the foreign style which is mere foolish.
