Gurgon has nothing much to offer... Yes, if you want to eat gud Jalebis then go to Sdar Bazaar... near Hanuman Murti+temple... there is a very old shop selling only Jalebi's.. I am eating Jalebi's from tht Sardarji for over 30 years now { I am going to be 40 now }. Same flavor as it used to be when I was a Kid.

yes vinay...u r right...the vada pav (ashok vada pav) is so tasty .. i left college abt four years back..but i still i ask my friends who goes there to bring at least one for me..yes there is one more place which provides tasty masala dosa (incls all kind of dosas like chinese dosas) which is at Dadar TT circle near babubhai bhavanji...its very tasty...a simple masala dosa for 15 bucks with delicious pudina and coconut chutneys
Anyone in and around Prabhadevi area in Mumbai, would vouch for the wada paav stall near Kirti college. Dont make the mistake of rubbishing it as yet another stall. This one's already won awards and mentions in any eatery list.
The owner's name is Ashok and all the stall sells are the normal - wada paavs, samosas, bhajiyas. Thats it. And the price is just 50 ps or 1 rupee more than the normal stall in Mumbai. The difference is in the taste. You just cannot get tastier stuff anywhere else.
Even the food is presented in the "normal" manner, ie., with the normal "theeka" and "meetha" chutneys. They take care to prepare this normal stuff to make it the tastiest meal you ever had. Wada paavs:Rs. 5, Samosas: Rs. 5 - with paav, its Rs. 6.
Just get down at Mald stn - west and u will see the popular MM Mithaiwala...just head for it...just ask for a jumbo vada pav with the spicy chutney...and u will really relish the treat1
My fav joint where you could get good food below Rs.20 has to be the vada pav joint outside the CTO located opposite to the High Court and facing Hutatma Chowk in Mumbai.
You get a piping hot vada pav just for Rs 5.Two vada pavs and you feel quite full. You also have the option of going for just the batata vadas if you so desire. The vadas are always served hot with dry powder garlic chutney. Fried chillis are also given complimentary.
After having the vada pavs, you could cool off with a glass of sugarcane juice available right across the foothpath.Full glass of sugarcane juice would cost Rs.5 and half glass Rs.3.Ginger is also crushed with sugarcane giving it that tangy feel.
For about 15 bucks you could have your fill and proceed to your workplace satisfied.

I had been there and I will agree with Jawahar. Vadapav and sugar cane is really happening and filled
This road side tapri on sus road, pashan, is run by Anna who makes steaming hot idli in front of you and they are so soft, they melt immediately in the mouth. The medu wadas are equally delicious, absolutely crisp on out side and tender inside! A plate fethches 4 idlis or 2 wadas and u can get it for 8-10 Rs. In the evenings dosas(plain, masala, set)are also on the menu. Dosas again are filling, tasty and made with miimum oil. All these are served with sambhar, coconut chatni and a tomato-garlic chutney -all th e three are amazing. Its just one thela with limited items, but each preparation is fresh, mouthwatering and fits well in your budget. Food is spicy and sambhar stands out in the lot. A filling breakfast costs only 15-20 Rs per person, and dinner-with 4 idlis, 2 wadas, 2 dosas is only 40Rs!!! Adress: Anna's thela ,near Balaji temple Sus road, Pashan Pune.
Jumbo King Wada pao rocks and it really does... specially the one near Dadar station in Mumbai. Not that there are no other stall along, but this is may be the only Jumbo stall that does put in a few bits of Onion in the wada pao. Indulge in two Jumbo wada paos (@ 5 each they cost you 10 bucks) and wash it down, either with 2 small glasses of cold drink (@ 5 each like Pepsi, Sprite) or try the Delicious, Thick lassi for 10 bucks. The taste lets you excuse the quantity.
Close to Marine Drive Station? Try out the Jumbo King there. These guys also have a brown bed version that costs 7 bucks. But the lassi that these guys serve has a special taste of gulab jal (rose water). Delicious!
A note to all who plan to head to Jumbo King today... these guys also have a cheese Vada Pao that rocks when eaten hot from the platter. Also, DO NOT FORGET to add some of that AMAZING Sweet chutney, filled in the Ketchup Bottle and tucked into some corner. To date, I never eat a bite of Jumbo without liberally icing it with that Chutney.
