Got this list in mail of places where u get things at their best. The guy has taken lots of efforts to get it all down in the list. Read the description (really funny). I am sure all the people who have stayed in Pune for more than one year must have visited almost all the following places, if not then now is the time and this list could provide u the required pointers. Feel free to add more.

Whenever visit Madurai famous for its Meenakshi Temple. Try fresh hot vadas with coconut chutney for mere Rs 3 per piece. Try dosas with sambhar , coconut chutney and two other chutney which you will find no where else. The all above items are fat free and are very light on stomach. I have tried these things near Good shed street.
There's one Aggarwal sweets in Delhi Cantt. He serves amazing Lassi for 15 bucks...One glass of that lassi and you will not have your lunch....IT IS SO FILLING.....And Purrfectly YUMMMMM.. He also proudly displays many stars ( Kapil Dev and some ministers ) having lassi from his shop....The Lassi rox..
Also many ppl have mentioned the Bhalle wala @ Bharat nagar Chowk in Delhi. It is equally amazing!!
I am a total foodie and a student. So though I love eating out I have to take care of my budget. The best I can come up with are the wada pavs priced at Rs.6 fron of J.J Garden at camp. Two of them can fill a stomach; the chutney served is awesome and the right season to relish them is going on.
There are also these amazing parathas available at Chaitanya located at F.C.Road and Dhole Patil Road. The Alu Paratha costs Rs.20, served with dollop of butter, curd, chutney and pickle and its a treat for hungry stomachs. They have varaities of parathas and rice plates too. If you can do enjoy these dishes - they are worth it!
