My views differ from what the author has to say? I'm really not sure if the author has any experience working in Indian companies. Except the TATA's & few others most of the HR policies framed are being thrown in Air.
Author is talking in the terns of "GLOCAL" a mix of Local & Global working conditions. But she should be aware of the 50+ million working employees condition in unorganised sector.
All i request is we need not heed to others advice, since we are the decision makers of Good & Bad.
Everything that is splurged in Internet or Media should not be taken into account, since the credibility of such writings are sub-standards.

planning to swtich jobs
by savita mahapatra on Dec 28, 2006 03:31 PM  Permalink

The article is very helpful & the topics are beautifully covered (in all aspect).
Also the major reason for shifting jobs for an employee is not just money but also the kind of environment, culture, benefits he is prevailing.
Money is priority nowadays but second important thing is the team & the manager (big BOSS) that employee is going to dealt with.
Almost spending 9-12hrs in office, employee should feel satisfied with the kind of work he is doing.
OFFICE IS THE SECOND HOME FOR MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES.

potential Boss will give the opportunity, But, In some Company Worst/3rd class Bosses never give an opportunity to grow.

Some Bosses can stomach anyone who is growing greater than him.

Some bosses do nothing they just do chamacha to employeer & spoil the image of good staff/worker.
