It was our President's very own account through the "WINGS OF FIRE".Dr APJ Abdulkalam's achievements have all a glorious dimension of 'extremely' distinguished and power-packed courage.Even after a month of finishing the great book,i feel the 'fire' continues to 'fly'within my world of existence.
The book which changed my life and way of thinking for sure, was.... Bunch of thoughts authored by M.S.Golwalkar (also known as Guru ji).
It is a book that gives a deep insight of India, its culture, history and the way we could all live a life that would ldead to an over all development in our national & social life including our personal & family lives.
It is a collection of thoughts/opinions by a reknowned and scholarly patriot of our Land, who was neither a politician nor a claimed social worker.
Hello all, My favourite so far is "Old man and the Sea", Earnst Hemmingway, I have read many books on positive thinking inspirational literature, but this one takes the cake. The thoughts of a lonely fisherman, who has gone without a decent meal for 41 days and his positive thinking throughout. Hemmingway is the base for all the positive thinkers and writers. Read this book and you will know, why it was Nobel winning.
I read this book in early 2006 and just read mit within 1 week. Although before reading da book I was not much in favour of the books theme but soon I realised that the author is actually talking about reality.
Yes dreaming is good but dreaming bigger is super good.
The author - David Schwartz has expanded his horizon of basic theme in a vivid manner.
This book is inspirational in a lot of ways. I have never come across a novel where survival Instinct, persistence and friendship have been expressed so beautifully.
It is much more effective and touching when compared to all the trash doled out in the name of inspirational books these days
the book that inspired me the most in 2006 was: Rich Dad, Poor Dad. It should be made a text book in school. I had all the same thoughts, but Robert Kiyosaki put it into words, and its the truth of life: we usually never learn to manage money ever, when all our life we seems to be working for what? Ask yourself the simple question?: Are you working for money, or is money working for you?
