Why the hell will someone want to show his love in public? Where is the question of freedom coming in?? None stops you from kissing in your house. We have a culture. Lets preserve it.
A person who says that kissing is not a sin will come tommorrow saying raping too should be allowed. Lets not get too westernised. Developing doesnt mean forgetting your culture.
The decision been taken by the govt officials are simply meant to harass the youth and give a weapon to the officials to misuse it.
I would like to narrate an incident happened with me at a park with my ex-girl friend (currently my wife).
I was sitting in Jijamata Park (Rani Baug, Mumbai) and busy with discussions for future plans, immediately a guard appeared and asked us to move to their office saying - SAAB ne Bulaya hai.
It was very surprising to us and later he started mis-behaving and using abusive words.
Later after reaching the Guards office, their Chief started using bad words without even knowing what has happened and what for he has called us there, demanding our Telephone numbers to call our parents, but after sometime he calmed down and asked for Rs. 500/- as a fine for misusing the public place. Where as no act of such kind has happened.
As a Compromise, he setteled the matter for Rs.200/- This is what happened to me at a park, but if govt. is giving such kind of Weapons, so AGAIN it will be a misuse of it.
Nobody bothers for the Policemen harassing the Youths for nothing.
If Govt treasuries are over, then it start begging instead of fining.
Who is the gov. to decide wether you can kiss or not. Ofcourse sex is not allowed..but what's wrong in kissing your partner in public, It's just expression of your love and emotion. It's ridiculous on part of govt. to make such fine. there should not be fine at all. le't be open minded not conservative.
There are many more burning issue in this country than concentrating on kissing , it is simply a way of showing love in all age groups , be it married, unmarried etc and solely private affair as per couples liking Govt and other machinaries to distance itself
ofcoz it doesnt matters kissing in public for those who can kiss thier partner in front of thier parents. now kissing on cheek/forehead is a diff matter then dat of kissing on lips. i dnt think v indians r not dat modernised to kiss on lips in front of our parents so better dont kiss in public. it shows ur respect to d society. or else take ur partner 2 a room n do wat all u wana do...
Lip locking in public places should definitely not be allowed in India. India is a country of a strong cultural background and actions like these only shows how vulnerable are we to the western culture. All said and done the guys and girls should abstain from such activities in public
people certainly understand their limits and who has given norms and rules to be set in few hands siting their who themselvs have made them rigid to any change...
whts socially accepatable norm?? What we, as a society, All couple atleast maintain some decency at public place,, and use of few place to get thir comfert...
If rules are made,, they are just enforsed and some time give power to those who enforse to get some illigal action ,, say blackmailing,, abusing and make showoff thir power, We saw the case in Delhi..
that means as long as i have money i can go on kissing my partner in public ? well so where should the couples kiss ? let them answer this before imposing fine. does this applies to married couple as well ? it shows that govt. has enough time and manpower to waste on such trivial issues rather than concentrate on something worth-while for people. Simply ,its too shameful for them to devote their time on such useless things
