An excellent article. Please do keep giving us more of such 'advisory articles'of universal appeal and applicability accross all age groups etc. Essential information as contained in this article really negates the commonly held notions and myths.

It is a very good information for the people who skip breakfast and also a very vital information to enhance the knowledge of the people who are already having breakfast regularly and it is a very important information for the people who think, by skipping breakfast they can lose their weight.

Cheers to the rediff team for publishing such articles for the welfare of the public.

hi.. ur breakfast tipos are great but i dont have time to do even this as i have to rush off for work.
so my breakfast consists of 1/2 litre of water before eating (which i have while getting dressed),then i have half a lime juice, with one teaspoon of honey added to one cup of water, while making my lunch for office, and then i sit down to eat my breakfast which is 100g of cornflakes and skim milk (abt half a cup).. i have my breakfast at 7 30 am.is this a good enough breakfast?
once i get to office i have 2 wheat bran crackers at 10 am and then have lunch at 1 pm. is this good enough?
