next we can have reservation for hindu royalty, hindu kshatriya class n then the hindu vaishnavs, the jains, the buddhists, the sikhs, etc etc.. till everyone has a share of the reservation.. after they realise that everyone has a share of the reservation they will probably abolish the reservation system
first of all the reservation should not be there at all......... apart from south Indian communities , brahmins were not very influential in other parts of India. they were not very rich community and neither Traditional zamindars. so by just calling high class they should be deprived for reservations.

In Bhagvad geeta it is mentioned that any person can be called a Bhramin if he is doing the duties of a Bhramin.So go ahead who is stopping you from being a Bhramin!!!You can perform all those duties too. But give up the present job you are doing completely.

I am sure you are not the first generation from your family to enjoy reservation. If people start to self restrain there would be no need for increasing the quotas and no need for any community to ask for it.

I am a Brahmin and I do not need any reservation to compete. I have competed against the best (I am from IIT) and held my own. On a broader note, reservation is advisable on economical grounds, irrespective of caste/class.

IIT Chennai will give admin to Brahmins only, against which Dravidar Kazhagam conducted many agitation. You people have 100% unannounced reservation in certain sector. We know what you people are. Better stay away from TN.

it is true. most of them educated and settled away from tamil nadu. why do they need reservation now? it is not brahmins but the political parties fool the people and the locals get fooled. this is what is going on for years.

I am not a Brahmin. I feel that in Tamil Nadu a great injustice is done to them - especially very deserving young students who are not economically that well off - they should have reservation

Irespective of north, east, west, south brahmins are always ahead in the community and they will head the nation in future also. We ( i am also a brahmin) don't want any reservations (Mercy of blady beggers- politicians) in any field in any manner.
1. Indians should get reservations in OLYMPICS. 25% of all Medals should be given to us. 2. Indians should get reservations at HARVARD, STANFORD and OXFORD. 3. Indians should get reservations in International Flights.
Why? Because WE ARE BEGGARS. We like to get everything for FREE. We like to make excuses like my forefarthers were differentiated against - BUT we will refuse to work hard.

There are a lot of underprivileged sections of India who have to be uplifted with economic support. RESERVATIONS is not an answer.
