u should see the situation that acts itself out during the admissions... students who read day and night and get good rank do not get admission whereas someone with a very high rank just walks in and can select course/college of choice? this is pathetic and depressing? u cannot right the wrong with a blunder... u cannot right the wrong with a blunder... ultimately quality is suffering... by all means provide ALL possible help for a student to study and get a good rank but don't discriminate at the time of admission

Ur leader being bramin what she has done. actually they are economically poor and they need support from Govt. All d besst in ur new venture u should be in Delhi not in state.

there are poorest among Brahmins who earn for their life doing puja in temples. Mr.karuna has spoiled their profession as well. Sekar is going to a person who is a architect of all the sufferings of the poor brahmins. Shame on you sekar

today is main problem in India is reservation system...........
they should make a rule where economic condition and merit criteria should govern reservations. The whole caste thing is really bad it is often abused. They should seperate church (religion) from state. we need a civil society right now there is too much anarchy. if you ask anyone he will say i am a punjabi or tamilian (for example)(do not mean to be against anyone) they never say I am a Indian. we need to change the mind set.

Ms Shelia, you are correct. Reservation system adopted by Periyar EV Ramasamy with a great intention that Brahmins splitted the society as many steps to keep them first. So let us use the same steps to bring the people up to Brahmins level.
Even though I am elegible for reservation, I have not used it and well settled in life. Honestly, I don't like my kids also using it, since all the very best they are getting.
Moreover, you cannot compare a forward caste boy living in a good house getting 90% in exams is superior than a poor class (caste) boy from worst surroundings getting 70%. For atleast next 20 years we need reservation.
In TN lot of Govt Engg Colleges & Medical colleges are coming, so there will be surplus of seats in the near future and naturally reservation will go off.

Here is one person who dares and cares to call a spade a spade. Certainly it is against egalitarian law to punish a person for the alleged misdeeds of his ancestors. What kind of reform it is when a part of the populace is made to suffer for the progress of the other part? We are not yet an equal opportunity society. The dice is heavily loaded in favour of a self-denigratory section, particularly the neo-rich amongst this section.
Sekar has noty understood the basis of reservation.
The purpose of reservation itself is to suppress even the very very poor brahmins... Reservation is meant for economically well off BCs,MBCs... Even ambassadors,public sector industries GMs ,bank managers if they are BCs they all claim reservation quota for themselves and for their children.
LETS FORM A GROUP WHERE ALL OPEN CASTE & BRAHMINS WILL MAKE OUR FRONT & WILL FORCE THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE US THE EQUAL OPPRTUINITYS. WE DON'T WANT RESERVATIONS OF ANY KIND BUT BE FAIR & GIVE EQUAL RIGHTS TO EVERYONE. RESERVATIONS WERE PROVIDED IN ORDER PROTECT THE BACKWARD CLASS. NOT TO DESTROY THE UPPER CLASS. N E LEADER WHOM COMES UP WITH OUR ISSUE WE ALL WILL SUPPORT HIM.
