Aks me I would say 1.Reservation on family income 2.Reservation for education only 3.Reservation for a family of 2 children 4.Reservation should not apply to larger children families, this need to be given a cut off date as some of the families at present may be allowed but message must be clearly set. THEN WE CAN WORK EFFICIENTLY AND SEND THE EVIL OF DIVISION OUT

Personely I do Not agree with anykind of reservation but what so ever our politions are doing is wrong for country that is the only reason due to which i agree with only one kind of reservation
Make Only One & Single Reservation system and make it on permannenet basis. & Basis of Reservation is BPL (Below Povery Line.

No Sir, Mayawati was amply rewarded by the brahmins. They voted for her en masse. She is turn rewarded SCMisra and his family with plum posts in the party and government.

I appreciate the boldness of Shekar. I think he should mobilise bramhins all over India and we put up a united face. Bramhins have been humiliated and have been a deprived lot in TN. All other politicians should kneel down and offer us what is deserved of us. We dont have to go begging. Let's unite. Good beginning anyways.
Brahmins, in general, do not need any reservation. But, there should not be any sort of reservation for any other group either. If the poor among the others cannot be protected by the Government, the poor among the Brahmins also need not be protected. Since Independence, all Governments, at the Centre and the states, have played vote bank politics and kept everybody poor. Among these, in the name of caste, sons and daughters of IAS officials, doctors, engineers, big and small time politicians rolling in money have exploited reservation and ensured enormous wealth for their next 10 generations. In the process, they completely eliminated the Brahmins from all higher positions in the Class I services, rooted them out of Engg and Medical Colleges and instead, entrenched themselves with considerably lower marks than the lowest ranked Brahmin student / candidate. The open challenge to TN politicians is: Throw open admissions to Engg and Medical Colleges and see the result - the entire campuses of all the major and good Engg and Medical colleges in the state will be infested with Brahmin students. Will they dare do it? The persecution of Brahmins in TN in worse than the persecution and hounding of Jews in Nazi Germany. But, nemesis has its own way of catching up with the bad. If these politicians shut the Brahmin shut out of Delhi and Chennai by their devious methods, they inadvertently opened the doors of Los Angeles and New York to them in a big way. Amen!
It is a serious threat posed by the upper caste brahmin. brahmins are educated and are well settled from generations. Reservation is meant for the upliftment of the downtroden, who were reeling under poverty, poor education and social separation. Reservation for brahmins will only affect the people who really deserve it.

What is the proof for your statement? brahmins have never rules this country. Always OBC's have ruled. When literacy was a non-paying career, nobody wanted it. But only Brahmins preserved the ancient scriptures at the cost of their careers and money. But when literacy became a paying career, the so called OBC's and others want to stop Brahmins and it justify their ulterior motives they want to ascribe and falsify history about Brahmins.

Not suppose to rule based on 50 back systems. Now most of Brahmins are very poor. Simple example. How much a priest get after 1500/2000 Rs per month. What is cream layer govt. is talking about 4 lakh. How Brahmins can give good education to child? Not even single benefit. I know Brahmins are working all the section from toilets, riska drivers, plumbers etc. Do not punish the Brahmins based on the 60 year back system.
u should see the situation that acts itself out during the admissions... students who read day and night and get good rank do not get admission whereas someone with a very high rank just walks in and can select course/college of choice. this is pathetic and depressing. u cannot right the wrong with a blunder... u cannot right the wrong with a blunder... ultimately quality is suffering... by all means provide ALL possible help for a student to study and get a good rank but don't discriminate at the time of admission
