When you enter into any Central Government office you will sense that. Still they are dominating. We need more Periyars.
You may love or hate a Brahmin, but cannot ignore them. MOst of these people have rosen through ranks and not reservations. They form barely 5% of India's population, but command more than 50% of India, because of their hard work, flexibility, adaptability to change, brainy and Chanakya type attitude.
Few of them might be problematic ones like the one Subramanyam Swamy, but you can't blame the entire community.

I agree sir. Brahmins have been given very low status in TN by Jayalalitha who is from BC or such caste.

Jayalalitha is a Brahmin Iyengar, her father was a native of SriRangapatnam near Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu & he was one of the many royal physicians to the Rajas of Mysore. She is the only Dravidianleader to openly pray at temples & encourages religious reform, such as banning of animal slaughter @ temples, which is quite popular in TN. Though she withdrew the Law as it made her unpopular & was one of the main reasons of her downfall in the last elections ..
Just by accident of birth and merely by wearing a thread mind you. . . and not by competing in any exam or completing any course they become the self-appointed GUARDIANS of God on earth. They should be soundly thrashed and humiliated for all the evil they have wreaked on this country over these many years. Their chronic MISrule has resulted in our country being enslaved by first the Mughals then the British and so on. In a democracy they are only 4% of the total population but usurp a majority of the social, economic, political and business positions today. They are the greatest evil ever invented and that MANU a**hole should have been slaughtered when he first proposed the hideous caste system.

For your information MANU did not propose the 'hideous caste system'. He only collated the laws that were prevalent during his times. Just like Baba Saheb Ambedkar did not propose the Constitution of India. He just helped and guided the committee that drafted the consitution. If Manu was as evil as you say, then may be he fathered one of your direct ancestors.

In case You Know MANU Sahinta. It Clearly State the Following.
1. No One should attain any title without their ability.
2. A Brahmin is a person who perform religous act, teaching.
3. a brahimin is a person who live on by collecting almus from village for provigibg the same.
4. A vashay or baniya is a person who perform bussiness. and earn his live hood from this
5. a Ksatriya or raja is a person who is a warrior and fight only for safe gaurding the country from takenover. and earn their livehood from this
6. a Shuadar/ harijan is a person who serve all these community for collocting there livehood
7. a St (Schedule Tribe) those person who do not know how to cultivate land and who lives in jungle also they depend on Junglee fruits and seed fro their live hood.
Go Through in these acept then say a wrong word for the same.

Because , Manu does threaten Shudras to be parted off with their tongue, or red hot iron to be thrust into his mouth for crimes which can be classified basically into categories;
1. Learning the Vedas 2. Reciting the Vedas. 3. Publicly abusing / Spitting / urinating upon a brahmana 4. Publicly defaming a brahmana 5. Causing grievous hurt to dvijas . Similarly, spitting on a brahmana, defaming him, or even urinating upon him (for which Manu ordains the king to cut off the penis of the indicted Shudra)
I am brahmin and have rented my house to a lower caste person. And he isnt ready to leave the house. He has assaulted me physically and my father who is a senior citizen just because the government did not provide water in a daily basis. when we complained to the police the man threatened us that he wouls file an atrocity case against us that we called him an OBC. I have never dreamed in my life to call a person a backward community guy. I have never raised my arm against anyone. He has the backing of a local MLA who belongs to the caste. Now i have become a tenant in my own house. And come to think of it. this is what Dr. Ambedkar fought for??? I dont want to talk about reservation for brahmins. But i definitely know that the OBC are taking undue advantage of the rules and laws.

You guys were taking undue advantage of Manu laws. You poured even boiling lead into the ears of people who heard the mantras. Periyar is right "When u see a snake and a Brahmin leave the snake and hit the Brahmin"

Try something like this. Buy a pepper spray , go with 2 -3 people , wear a helmet and spray it in their living room and in their eyes , take out all luggages like gas , gas stove in the road , push them in the road as well , and lock the room .

i am not talking about manu or his laws. I am talking about my life. Did i pour anything to someones ears?? Dont u understand when i say i rented my house to him. it means i considered him a human being. Not a OBC. I dont care what manu said or what people did ages ago. Whats happening now in the society???

this person with his backward community reservation is the principle in a government college. His wife is a professor in the same college is studied. he comes home drunk every night. The police flatly denied to register a case. And now we are talking about reservations to OBC. a few people thought education would bring brains to people. But these people are highly educated and act as thought they are the respected class in the scoiety

Brahmin's don' need reservation because they make self reservation. I'll explain 1) Two persons going for an interview having same qualification, talent and a-z of what is required. They would select only a brahmin because the hiding manager is a brahmin. 2)Why is a hiring manager brahmin? Because he got selected by another person in the same company who is a brahmin. 3) Are there so many brahmins? If so why? Because their parents and grandparents taught them they have to study hard or build a skill to grow up in life 4) Who taught them? If that's the case don't other community parents teach the same? Well they come from education line from ancestors. About others they were not allowed to study because quiet simple others start studying what's left of your importance. 4) You must be joking? Well you can laugh. But one small example. In Freedom Fight, Do you have anyone from the SC or ST category? no because they are untouchables and can't be allowed to stand beside and participate. They have from time immemorial stopped others from coming up in life. Others will take time to get par. Its not only money that makes the difference but the perception toward better life that makes the difference. Brahmins don't need as they are quiet talented. They can crush others and come up in life. So they don't need reservation

This is never worst than, Economiclly strong SC/ST gets a reservation for just wiping his tables in college & School, PLEAE, WHY DONT WE THINK ABOUT FINISHING THIS RESEVATION IDEAS BASED ON COMMUNITY/..., DO IT ON THE ECONOMICAL STATUS, SO THAT EVEN POOR ELLIGIBLE FCs GETS THE BENEFIT OF HIS TALENTS.

there must resevation for sc/st/obc only. Because of long generation gap they are far far away from social and ... progress. If you want India as developed contries ,it cannot happen without the progess of them. Only quality is not the matter of..

Reservation on caste is worth of nothing, but to make you people shout.Reservation shd be on economic condition and from the school from which they come from. Forget about Shekar asking for reservations for brahmins. Why should any caste be given reservation? If at all, an indian has to come under reservation bracket it should be on economic / health grounds. So how does it matter whether such person is brahmin or not? Does it mean all brahmins are well off and all backward classes are poor?

If OBC/SC/ST s were harrased in past Govt should apologize for past mistake and pay each SC/ST/OBCs one lakh rupee as a compensation and force everybody to remove caste , creed ,etc from their name and burn all the caste records available and forget it.

I caught an a s s h o l e . In world war II many chinese girls were taken as war prisoners in japan and misused , 50 years down the line , japan apologized and paid them compensation
Branhmins never rule any kingdom , but you a s s h o l e s think you were deprived by brahmins. You hate to study, you hate to work but still want to work in large MNC drawing big salary, that is attitude problem.
