As a Brahmin, I feel that the very concept of reservations is anti Constitutional, being violative of the right to Equality.
First it was the scheduled cast Ambedkar and then the most illogical and discriminatory mandal Commission which has wreaked havoc with the education system and the job availability in India.
Rajiv Gandhi had put the stupid Mandal recommendations in the cold staorage. But it was the useless VP Singh who implemented it for dirty vote bank politics.
Because of reservations, over 50 % seats and vacancies are reserved for OBC/SC/ST and nothing is left for the bulk of the population.
Brahmins are the bulwark of India and of Hinduism. They do not need any dole from the govt in the form of resevations, unlike the muzlims.
What the Brahmins expect is that the govt should stop crushing Hinduism in India.
The govt should do away with reservations completely!

Spot on bros!!! Bcoz of Arjun Singh,Chandrashekahr,V.P Singh and Ranjiv Gandhi we are humilited in our own country. These people should be brutually killed.
When i got more than 85% in my 12th, Chennai's major colleges denied me the admission as i am a brahmin (FC as per so called govt policy). Whereas the person who has got 54% got the seat in chennai's no.1 college as he is a SC. (Though he is rich, he has not spent much for his education and where as the poor guy like me spent the entire course fee. pity, therealso, From my fees, he has been offered the education)
I continued my studies with a very small college where they don't care for anything (including attendance and results). Infact, the don't care approach helped me a lot by allowing me to persue CA and CWA foundation together. immediately after completing the Degeree, in a span of 2 years i have completed both the professional courses. Now, at the age of early 30's i proved myself, to this society, to my community, to my company and doing very well.
I always thank the reservation policy, because,had not there been reservation and Had i got the admission in the so called good institution by this time i would have completed degree and would be a ordinary clerk somewhere.
Now i am leading a comfortable life.
I always thank the reservation policy.
Guys, don't worry, efficiency and effectivness will bring us the light.

even me 96% not got reputed college as per my expectation
done lot of hard work with very much passion completed degree with distiction
I am happy Out community dont need rese. and my friends from reserved cat. yet not completed degree and some are in search of job

There can be no reservations for brahmin fellows.. rather the andaman and nicocab islands can be given to them as a seperated state for brahmins in India. It can be called the brahmin state, there they can do what ever they want to since they'll have 100% reservation.

amey they will come not for benefit but first they will ask to change name of island as ambedkar island and then demand reservation there too.example is demand for reservation in private sector.
Brahmin's don' need reservation because they make self reservation. I'll explain 1) Two persons going for an interview having same qualification, talent and a-z of what is required. They would select only a brahmin because the hiding manager is a brahmin. 2)Why is a hiring manager brahmin? Because he got selected by another person in the same company who is a brahmin. 3) Are there so many brahmins? If so why? Because their parents and grandparents taught them they have to study hard or build a skill to grow up in life 4) Who taught them? If that's the case don't other community parents teach the same? Well they come from education line from ancestors. About others they were not allowed to study because quiet simple others start studying what's left of your importance. 4) You must be joking? Well you can laugh. But one small example. In Freedom Fight, Do you have anyone from the SC or ST category? no because they are untouchables and can't be allowed to stand beside and participate. They have from time immemorial stopped others from coming up in life. Others will take time to get par. Its not only money that makes the difference but the perception toward better life that makes the difference. Brahmins don't need as they are quiet talented. They can crush others and come up in life. So they don't need reservation

yes, u can given only scores of people from the north. We have not heard about them, because ur ancestors crushed them and ultimately even those scores lost their identity.

Yes. I fully agree with Mr.Sarath, Because of the neo colonisation practised by brahmins ( learned from the britshers ) they dont want other community people to race them. There are many victims in TN because of brahmins.

It is very unfortunate that some of them expressed no reservations is required.If that is that case,reservations is extended to backward communities for 4 generations since independence, does they still require. If you have guts to compete with brahmins come on to the forum in a right manner.If brahmin community is ignored,every body will face the consequences. 1.Extend Reservations to the Righ Candidate 2.No life time reservations or to their future generations. 3.For God sake, do not pok the band of reservations in the jobs or promotions, whrein able candidates will be pushed back. 4.Even in Brahmins community, some of them are also facing financial crunch, provide them also with the proper facilities and amenities.
Yes, they deserve all kinds of priority and reservations yet other castes are trying to sideline them. Now-a-days government Jobs are not required for any brahmins as they are good enough to get Jobs world over. time and again they are proved that they can do well under any given situation and many companies prefer Brahmins as they top employees as they can vouch their telent and knowledge base.
This is a policy of congress to divide and rule. They know that more the division in socity, more vote bank in their favor. They are getting this thing from Britishers and apply first on poor/fool people of muslims during partion of India & Pakistan
