Secular DMK should not provide reservation for brahmins if they give then we will restore to protests through out india under the leadership of field marshall paswanji and we will make sure that u(dmk) will not win the elections.

But Vinod Brahmins are very poor people and play no role in caste oppression as they are absent from rural Tamil nadu. You know that reserved middle castes in Tamil Universities are richer than Brahmins and general candidates. Do you believe in justice or wrongly-placed caste hatred?
yes i agree with venkataraman being a brahmin has these days becoming a curse there is no progress .In giving justice to other caste government is making same mistake and now we have lost all opportunities and WE have only option to join private firms or we should be extra ordinarily brilliant which god doesnt grace with to everyone
There are nearly 6000 castes in India and if every caste demands reservations there will be civicl war soon. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar sought reservations for communities which were oppressed. He envisaged reservations for 10 years only but the system is continuing for sixty years now. Hinduism or Manuvad does not rule India today. It is the Indian Constitution, which treats all equally, which calls the shots. In such a scenario, saying that some community is backward would be wrong. If at all reservations are to be given they must be based on financial condition of the concerned families. Reservation is nothing but perpetuating the caste system by changing its beneficiaries from so called forward to backwards castes. Reservations are against spirit of One India, against the spirit of national integration. It is sad that different communities are taking undue advantage of their numbers and are blackmailing political parties into doling out reservations. There should be social justice programmes based on financial criteria but no reservations. There is nothing progressive about seeking reservations. Please, stop begging.

Well said Kolhe, community based reservation should be changed to income/opportunity/disability based reservation. I.e Poor, rural and disabled people should be given reservations
All sort of reservation must be removed.It must be ZERO.Who will dare to remove it?Spineless,vote bank hungry politians?Initially it was for 15years only.You cant punish present & coming generations for being born in so called forward castes.JaiHo

I agree. India MUST go with Meritocracy. That is the only way to improve. Remove the reservations to Dalits first. I had to leave India those days because my SC/ST class mates got jobs, I did not, even though I had 2 gold medals. Where am I now- in USA; But my heart is still in India, after all these years. I would have been much happier in India.

Well then u deserve this my dear friend!Even I am Gold medallist,but I have never thought of going to the US.I think u r being treated like a dalit in US thats why u repent going there.But anyway, it made u feel the pain of the SC/ST, that is no less.Stay back in the US and donn come back here, u dont deserve to be here!
Yes, it is true, forward case should get reservation or equal rights. Why should Brahmins not get reservation? In Rajasthan Jain's got sepcial reservation quota. If you calculate across India more then 57% rights first goes to reserved community, then it is turn for forward cast. Accross world there is no such type of reservation system is going on expect India. Political parties raise this such kind of issue for their vote bank. We have more then 52% reservation in education for them. Why? Every one working hard for education. I was watching one tv programme, in which Ex-Vc of Chennai IIT was sharing his views that, reserved community students quotas never get fully filled then also current central goverment has proposed for extra reservation for them in IIT and IIM's. Brahmins,Baniya's and Patel should get special reservation. If system will go on like this then there will serious problem in future for forward cast.
