We don't want any reservation. Any caste that was favoured for reservation by the government have not developed, like vanniyars, thevars etc. Those castes that were targeted by the government have developed - Brahmins, Nadars, Chettiars etc.
So we dont want any reservation and make us dependent on the government. Would anybody go to a doctor who passed because of reservation?

how do you know whether a doctor has passed of a reservation, does his degree read MBBS (Reservation)
In our India caste based reservation made big mess and drawn lines between the different communities/men. Dr.Ambetkar did not expect the present situation other wise he would have proposed reservation on financial basis. As I know many poor people are there in Brahmin community who could not get food continuously or day to day basis. Due to reservations they are not getting opportunity to read in premier organizations even though they get good marks. There are several incidents in AP who scored 65% did not get seat in medical where as 35% scored scheduled caste person got. What way the 35% scored candidate help us. This will demoralize the particular person lead him to destructive thinking. Why present Brahmin people punished due to the history. Our political scenario should change and they should introduce reservations based on poverty. If we observe the Scheduled caste MLA having crores of money also enjoying the benefits of reservation which is not justified. We pry to god and request him to change our entire political leaders (including BJP which is not dared to open the issue of reservations) mind and take our India to highest levels by stopping the communal/caste politics.
from tommorow there will be protest against this aryan s.v sekar for asking reservation to brahmins.how dare he can ask like that in the land of periyar.

Dear Mr.Vinod Are you ready to get a punishment due to your forefathers mistakes. This is not justified. We are not against the reservations. We are demanding the reservation on poverty basis particularly for education only. Reservations for employment should be stopped. The brilliant persons irrespective of community/ caste should get a opportunity to serve. Then only our India can stand in present world competitions.

You guys keep talking about periyar, ambedkar.... do you know the real intenetions of these people? Infact i support ambedkar in one way.... he wanted to have reservation for the down trodden people for 10Years. that is it? he expected people to grow in 10 years, and people like you will never grow in 100 years.
treat all indian at least hindu as one caste. let us all encourage intercaste marriage. allow other caste people to worship god. don't differentiate the human from caste by birth. do you think it will happen in india? are these brahmins so generous to accept all society equal. over 70% treat Sc/st as untouchable till now. i doubt they go and eat at their house. as long as this system exists reservation will countinue. at first so called brahmins have to change first. they think society exist because of them. I really give a damn to them.

Reservations has nothing to do with caste anymore. Thahks to the Congress, it is now a political tool, used to create riots, hatred and ultimately votes.
we appreciate s.v.sheker's bold voice to ask for reservation for brahmins other brahmins should also raise their voice also to support the legend voice

seshadri, we dont really need any reservations. dont you see, what our reserved category guys are getting into? Laxity in discharging duties, coz they and their decendants are assured of a livelihood. The are proving the theory of Charles Darwin wrong - 'survival of the fittest'

You seem to living in a fools paradise. Nobody is rotting in despair. U know who is...In fact till the time the British took over, India was doing well. Then the politicians took over, had to keep the minorities happy as in vote bank politics and gave them high posts (gained by reservations)and now the condition of India is in front of you to see.

Dont comment based on the history created by British.so many people became kings, poets in earlier days from poor, dalit community.Nothing injustice happened.People divide themselves economically and common interest and profession make them as group. This is common phenomena even today.can i ask u one question?will a reserved dalit with B.E/MBBS degree marry a poor, uneducated village girl?It may happens one in 1000 cases. What about remaining 999 dalits?According to you They are doing injustice?tell me will u come and party with village dalits who are agricultural labour? That is not the meaning that we are avoiding them.
And this voice will get louder as we enter deeper into recession. Here is why I think so.
When economy is booming, better brains have no problem with opportunities. And we have a sector with 0% reservation in form of private sector. So, it did not really matter to these people all these days if there was reservation or not.
For any prospective employee, any opporunity whether govt or private did not matter.
But now with change in economic situation, opportunities have tilted towards govt. sector and lot of candidates (with out reservations) actually are left optionless after being rejected. They are left with time to rue and find faults with the (reservation) system.
Now it is going to be difficult for govt's to justify the caste over merit as selection criteria.
And if, politicians stand blunt there could be a stirr in forward caste communities and that could result in formation of vote banks amongst them and there by influence the politicians to bias towards them.

these brahmins had done grave injustice to dalits and other backward communtiies for 2000yrs.so in keeping view of this let the brahmins rot in despair for anthr 2000yrs.

Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two itihasas that India reads, were written by a Fisherman, Vyasa and Hunter, Valmiki...How do we say that Brahmins did not recognize other caste? All of this confusion started due to the Islamic Invasion and British rule of India, who disturbed the balanced system of social existance in India

what these Brahmin.. you ridiculous person.. I don't need reservation anyhow.. else there won't be any difference between weaker and stronger..you ancestor suffered and you were enjoying the reservation.

Kiran Kumar Mr. Shekar does not represent the entire Brahmin community and it is his own personal opinion which is being rejected by majority of the Brahmins themselves on this board. Please note nobody is throwing stones at buses & burning tyres in the middle of the road claiming reservation. And as for your recession theory, it is open to debate
another backward class... tribal living in forests give them also reservations.. give them.. 7 % reservations... since they are very poor than any other caste or class.. they must b given cut off marks as 10 % so if they get more than 10 % they will become engineers... more importantly.. the politician who bought such reservations.. must get his house built by the people from that specific group should go to doctors who are from that specific group...
these brahmins had done grave injustice to dalits and other backward communtiies for 2000yrs.so in keeping view of this let the brahmins rot in despair for anthr 2000yrs.

That absolute nonsense.. read some true Indian history. As early as 1916 India was a peaceful community. Caste didnt have any role. Brahmins were just another person. Brits wanted to create a chaos so they started favouring Brahmins and building stories about injustice. Now we have absolute chaos and idiots like you still yell at brahmins. Sad & Sick!

You peoples don't have the strength / guts to punish others apart from Brahmins.. Why don't you put the British peoples or Muslims or at least the Pakistanis who have done more damage to India than Brahmins....

untouchabilty resulted in the moghuls enlisting the dalits to their side and the main cause of india hate politics. the kashm pudts are the main cause of turmoil in kashm. there is not much problem in jmmu. the KPs should gave stayed put there. instead KPs to come in the mainland of india and shamelessly claim refuggeee status, meaning in their heart they still think that kashm is an independant state. the brhms shd not be given reservation.

I too belong to MBC, but till date for the past 40 yrs, we never used this consession. This person((may be employed in some govt orgn& a convert) seems to be sick , reason-searching person for his non-performance.
Sometimes we fight against Muslims ,Sometimes we witness murders of Christian People, Sometimes we witness Godhra ,
Why we are always fighting ?? Why don't we ever think of development and prosperity? Are these issues ever going to do any good to our country INDIA ???
