The attitude of DMK and DK towards Brahmins justifies Babdri Mazjid demolition, which was done to take revenge on rulers like Babar, Aurangzeb, Tippu Sultan etc. who were tyrants. Then why cry foul for Babri Masjid demolition. Parameswaran

this is really worst negative attitude kind of comment i have seen in message boards tillnow So you want to punish them for what happened some hundreds of years ago then why not punish other religions there are religions and people married thousands of hindu woman converted so many people why are only bramhins targetted How many bramhins are now eating full meals a day regarding Pooja: you go get marry and ask a non bramhin poojari you want bramhins when u born when u marry when u die but u want them under your foot

I am not against Brahmins.In fact Brahmins are more emphathetic towards the SC/ST. Tt IS THE caste Hindus who inflict violence and humiliation on the SC/ST.My friend Ramarao suggests that reservation should be on the basis of economic criteria and further says that a criminal's son need not be a criminal.OK.But a son of an untouchable is still untouchable.The social stigma has not gone inspite of good education this people enjoy. The caste Hindus and the SC/ST behave in a very friendly fashion during a journey/meeting as long as they are unaware of their castes. They exchange betels, bidis, cigarettes, fruits,sweets etc. But as soon as the Hindu comes to know that the person with whom he is talking is SC, a sense of UNEASINESS germinates in his mind. He thinks that he has been deceived. He cuts his association short and ultimately this temporary friendship ends hatred.As long as this stigma exists,the caste hatred cannot be wiped out and so is the reservation.

how is caste hatred connected with reservations? well caste is there everywhre... including chr*istians who follow it reli*giously.. saying u shouldnt go to this ch*urch nd all.. and muzz well they blow up themselves... caste stuff is somethign which is not in cities.. atleast... but in america itself there are catholic churches and protestant churches.. etc

very well said ! Brahmins practiced untouchability but were they brutal physically? Nope. So what did out social justice leaders like Periyar, Karunanidhi do to people who physically abused SC's and scared them to death. They didn't do anything because Thevar vote bank, Nadar vite bank. Every thing boils down to vote bank.
Resevation should be on economic status of a family.....and not on caste......
Brahmins are the people who...are most economiaclly...effected people.......
its really...shit that...reservation...is enjoyed only by economically strong.....people in these days....and they are really proud of that.......and not by peple who are economically weak....
if some one borns..in brahmin...that is not sin....but the people..who..are enjoying...reservation....fear of them...even after they have reservation.......
i really appreciate MR Sattanathapuram Venkataraman Shekher ...since atleast he thought..once for brahmin community.....hatsoff for him....
today...every one agreess that...brahmin is the only community ....which is completely ignored.....by all parties....economically weak...and leading a life....worst then a OBC/SC ST people...

Brahmins are not the culprits. It is people like you who is drum beating on caste lines. Most of those who ill-treat fellow beings are OBC and other castes in Hindu socieity, whereas Brahmins who are miniscule section, do not indulge in these policies. I am not a brahmin, but a nair from Kerala. Even my own caste who thinks they are upper caste, humiliate others, which brahmins do not, (atleast Keralite brahmins as far as I know.) I do not know about others.

What logic or sense does it make to say that you will punish the child for a crime his father has committed? If thats the case, all the ppl lodged in jails, their f@m!lies shud be cu11ed. Not that i support reservations, i dont need any, i will use my asset, my brains, which you seem to lack and still thriving on reservations. Wake up and realize what you are missing due to this reservations. Its making you and your ilk lax and the spirit of survival of the fittest is dying a slow death. You may not be effected by it, but somewhere down the line your decendents will curse for this policy.
60 years of Brahmin bashing has not decimating the community, which is what Periyar, Anna and others wanted. Brahmins are still the most prosperous community in TN even today, barring stray cases. The irony is anti Brahmanism has also indirectly helped the community to help themselves. The intelligentia of TN even today belongs to this community. As a Brahmin myself, I have nothing to say about other communities, but can definitely talk about my community. The irony is that even the so called anti Brahmin DMK and DK leaders, when it comes to marriages in their houses, seek out to the Brahmin priests. In the same breath they also do Brahmin bashing. I have seen myself that to satisfy their leaders, the anti Brahmin lobby at the lower level, when conducting marriages, do a dual performance. They organise a non ritual marriage and subsequently seek the Brahmin's help to conduct it religiously. All said and done, religion cannot be segregated from the human soul. At one stage, the entire non Brahmin community in TN was up against Brahmins and today see the condition. They are today fighting between themselves to get a slice of the coke in the form of reservation. And the Brahmin is watching the on going game. Parameswaran

Built sanskrit schools and all brahmin boys shouuld be allowed to learn this dead langauge without any cost.so that,these boys will get training to blah blah in temples.
