In my village, this Brahmin used to come every morning with his family and we used to give them rice. Indians who lived in villages probably know this already.

In my city, there used to be a beggar who used to lick everyone's feet everytime you passed him and his name was "Dang", probably he belonged to your family.

Also if you need reservation for going to school let me know, since you seem to need some help in grammar.
Brahmins prepare good vegetarian food which is unique in taste and different from others. Even in marriages and functions, they preside the meals preparation. We should respect them for this.
for the last 5000 years tamilnadu has been ruled by tamil dynasties such as chera, chola, pandya and pallava. during those period Brahmins were very poor and performed service in temples to get food. but during the british occupation due to their intelligence they were employed in good administrative postions. so when britishers left the country generally brahmins were hated in tamilnadu due to them serving the british loyally. and thats the reason they are hated in tamilnadu. I beleive brahmins in tamilnadu / south india should be given quota. they live in poor conditions in slums.

As per my understanding the four varnas or categories were created based on the work that was done. Brahmin for the pooja path and praying for the welfare of the soceity, Vaisnavas for doing the business. Now a days vaisnavas, Brahamins everybody is doing what ever is profitable except for a few exceptions. So by Birth nothing is set. This discussion and the article does not make sense

Whoever says India is secular is a fool. Long way to go. We were a Hindu country not long ago until 1100s - when we as Hindus really flourished in every which way you can think possible - lead first by Knowledge to understand God and Nature and following by traditional Hindu family values. Then we were invaded ruthlessly (killing Brahmins everywhere) by Muslims from Turkey, Arabia etc who invaded Persia and Persians on their way and forced people to convert to Islam - todays Indian Muslims. Then next were Dutch,Portuguese and Britishers trying to force everyone to Christianity - Indian Christians of today. Then came the gr8 Ambedkar who bashed Hinduism and forced people to new Buddhism. All these got reservation. But we have a long way to go. We need to accomodate the Tibetians (4%). Since American Oil Companies will next invade the Amazon forests those tribes will have no where to go. They will come to India demanding reservation. Then due to Artic ice melting, India needs to accomodate Eskimos in Kashmir (near Himalayas for cooler climate). Of course we then have to give reservation to African tribes by inviting them to India due to drought there. All volanic islands in Polynesian islands in Pacific will be gutted due to volcanos/earthquakes OR due to excessive scientific experiments conduected there by British scientists. So we need to invite and reserve seats for Tongas, Samoans , Fijians etc.Only then will India be truly secular boss!Congress family wants this!
