I agree with mr.S.Vee.Shekar.As a middle class Brahmin student, I never got any support in my schholday despite meeting the requirements of merit - simply'cos I was Brahmin.Mr.Karunanidhi is the right one to reverse his anti-brahmin stand for whom( or DMK party) Mr.Rajaji asked all Brahmins to hold their holy thread and vote for DMK.What happened, all communities now have reservations. The best policy should be all help / support be based on financial status of the individual and not the caste.i know of several rich classmates of mine who got scholorships just 'cos they belonged to backward community. In my times, we supported poor Brahmi(fellow) students who have no other back up. Time that all are to be treated at par when it comes to needs and genuine necessities.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET WE WILL NEVER FORGIVE The genocide that the inbrd islamic invaders caused For every action there is a reaction what goes around comes around islam is NEXT on the world agenda of extinction V. Purohit I clicked on you name yr an arrrab slavvvvv

Men created God to exploit fellow men.So, all rules were to defend them only. Also, we cannot punish the present Generation for what was prictised in the past.I detached my surname IYER just be a ordinary man to help others. i was expelled from A fanatic Brahmins shop in Ghaziabad in 1969 - he argued that South Indian Brahmins are not real Brahmins( My fellow mate told the Shopkeeper that I too is a Brahmin, just to acify him - did not wok.
It is we who should change and help the needy and deserving. If American finds some Indian was bad to him, he cannot blame the whole country for that.I have friends from 40 diffrent nations including Srilanka, Pakistan and BanglaDesh. We don't discuss politics which is a killer of all kind of relationship. We have to stop hating others.
There are sill millions of Dalits, forest tribes and Backward class people in remote villages of our country, who don't even know there are institutes like IIT's, IIM's, Anna University, JNTU, AIIMS running in our country. What will be your answer to those people, who don't have proper education?.. Where city students get good education and extra coaching from IMS, TIME, FITJEE and many more...
Don't see your environment alone. India is very big with 6 lakh villages, with high level unequality.
It is really an good idea. How long we (Brahmins) to be under on open community. All political parties are need the brahmins to develop their party strength. Example Ms.Mayawathi's personal secretary is an brahmin.
Mr.Sekar Thanks for your voice on behalf of brahmin community.
I feel that the very concept of reservations is anti Constitutional, being violative of the right to Equality.
First it was the scheduled cast Ambedkar and then the most illogical and discriminatory mandal Commission which has wreaked havoc with the education system and the job availability in India.
Rajiv Gandhi had put the stupid Mandal recommendations in the cold staorage. But it was the useless VP Singh who implemented it for dirty vote bank politics.
Because of reservations, over 50 % seats and vacancies are reserved for OBC/SC/ST and nothing is left for the bulk of the population.
Brahmins are the bulwark of India and of Hinduism. They do not need any dole from the govt in the form of resevations, unlike the muzlims.
People like Arjun singh,V.P Singh,Chandrahsekhar,Mayawati,Sonia Gandhi should be brutually murdered or should be burnt in hot boiling oil.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Muslims should be banned or it should be replaced with resevations for Brahmin and they should be allocated work whicha acaully the are capable of! Their bosses should be Bramhin

north indians are voting for Congress (Hand Symbol) for 60 years.. Can congress change it's symbol. First, think logical, in election Symbol of the party plays a vital role than the candidate name... Can BJP, stand in Duck Symbol for this election... Think first...
I am from TN, I can understand TN Politics more than u and I am not against or supporter of AIADMK...
Brahmins should mobilize themselves politically. They should not bother about what other castes speak about them. TN is fully of casteist people and casteist parties. All parties are based on one caste or the other.. they will have high sounding names, but they are all essentially built on caste identity. Brahmins should vote and they should organize themselves. They should not allow jealousy to spoil their progress. They should unite. They should not fight based on whether they vishnu or Shiva is the "real god". They should also understand that the Vedas say that there is no superior or inferior caste. They should every one equally. But the time has come for Brahmins to defend themselves. They should do this without offending anybody. They cannot afford to be sensitive to comments by dravidian parties including dravidar kazhagam. These hate outfits have succeeded, but not for long. Brahmins should not be defensive when they do something for their community. No community in TN shies away from helping their community, even if they have to bend rules. Brahmins need not hesitate in doing the same. That is the current trend and so practice it. Do not fall for " if you also do it then what is the difference between you and others".. Brahmins do not need this glory.

Though I am a Bengali Kayastha, I speak for all my brenthen all over India! We want reservation. Just because we have emphasized on education for many CENTURIES doesn't mean that we can't have it TODAY!

More than the dalits. Not really. Ask Amitabh, he even changed his last name. Dalit's can't paint their skin.
